To my family and friends,
I'm the smart, quiet one,
The girl who hardly talks,
The girl with no fun.You can find me in the park,
Sitting under a tree,
With my nose in a book,
And a coffee cup beside me.There's a world beyond that park,
A world you would never see,
When I'm in that other world,
That's when I'm really me.Sometimes I'm an elf,
Who guards the woods,
Or a dark witch,
Who casts magic at noon.Sometimes I'm a detective,
Defeating the bad guys,
Sometimes I'm the criminal,
Committing bloody cold crimes.Sometimes I'm a werewolf,
Who howls at the moon,
Or a beautiful vampire,
Who sleeps at noon.I have run away from zombies,
Faced a virus pandemic,
Traveled in two space ships,
Survived a great apocalypse. And I warn you, my friend,
If you pulled me out of that world,
I'll turn you into a tiny frog,
With a spell, you have never heard.
