Tony nods and turns on his heel. But you have no faith in Tony's ability to follow instructions. Instead of waiting around for him to return, you dash quickly into one of the nearby recovery rooms, maneuvering around Émile who tries desperately to calm a young woman whose eye is hanging precariously from its socket as she screams.

You reach into the cabinet and find what you need, returning to the young man on the bed. You're surprised to see Tony already there waiting, his hands full.

"Where do you want these?" he asks.

"I've got it, Tony," you say, focused on cleansing the laceration in the man's side.

"Well then that was a waste of my time," says Tony, irritated.

"A waste of...? Tony I don't have time for your self importance right now," you scowl, wrapping the man's side tightly in fresh dressings as you move to the next bed.

"That's not what I meant," Tony says as you move, following you closely. "I meant that I could have been helping someone else if you aren't going to trust me enough to grab some supplies out of a goddamn closet!"

You whirl around facing Tony, pissed. You need to get him out of your space. Even if it's only for a minute or two.

"You really want to help Tony? Fine. Go to the locker room and grab a pair of scrubs. Find me when you're done."

Tony lets out a growl and retreats towards the locker room. While he's gone, you manage to treat and stabilize two additional patients.

"Now what?" Tony asks from over your shoulder as you kneel before a young woman, assessing a piece of shrapnel in her leg.

"Honestly, Tony? I don't know," you say, not even bothering to look back him as he stands behind you. "You're not medically trained. I can't have you administering aid. But I guess you can go get some more supplies from the closet. I need more gloves and dressing."

"Are you going to pop out to the market for your own supplies when I leave this time?" he snarks.

"Go," you growl.

Tony returns less than a minute later. With exactly what you asked for. Surprised, you stand to take the supplies from him when all of a sudden the elevator doors fly open and six more people stumble out into the medbay.

But there's something horribly wrong with them.

There's deep, red blistering and scarring around their mouths and noses. Their eyes are bleeding and they're having trouble breathing.

"Oh boy. We got walkers," whispers Tony as you both watch the victims collapse into the arms of the nurses and medical staff who run over to receive them. Tony looks over to you and pantomimes a shotgun.

You roll your eyes and let out an aggravated sigh before running towards the mess of people that have just stumbled in. Tony follows closely behind.

"What the hell?" you muse, gazing at the blisters on their faces and taking a few slow steps closer.

But before you have a chance to get to them, you feel Tony grab your arm and pull you back.

You turn sharply to look at his hand on your arm before lifting your eyes to meet his. Your agitated expression softens as you see genuine worry in his eyes.

He had grabbed your arm to keep you away. To protect you from whatever the hell had happened to those people.

"Tony, I'm okay," you say softly. "I need to go help them."
