Heyy guys! well this is nothing special just a Felix x lily one shot. I hope you all like it!!
"We loved a love that was more than love"
"She's looking at you again"
"No she isn't" a handsome man in blue replied as his eyes searched the crowd.
Everyone was dressed fancily trying their hardest to impress the nobility in their most expensive dresses. But his heart knew that she would never do that. Those customs were nothing but restrictions for her. For she was different
His star

"Sir Felix?"Bright blue eyes stared up at him, curiously, lush brown hair twisted in a bun.
He wondered how it would feel to run his hands through her hair, he was certain that it would be as soft as it looked, just like the most precious of silks. And god, her dress perfectly matched his eyes. Anyone looking at them would believe that they came together for their clothes unintentionally matched each other's
"Sir Felix??"
He was falling
Completely
Utterly
Irreversibly
Falling
"Sir Felix Robane?!!"
Soft warm hands gently enveloped his face. He almost forgot how good it felt to be touched by someone with warmth.
This gesture broke him out of his conflicting thoughts
"Lady Lilian"
His heart
"My apologies, I wasn't paying attention" he blushed slightly, embarrassed at getting caught by her like this. He grew conscious of her small and soft hands on his face, Felix was sure that he would be as red as his hair now
A brilliant smile lit up her face
"It's quite alright!" she sang as she removed her hands from his face
He already missed the warmth and comfort her hands brought him"How've you been recently? I've heard the House of York got many proposals for their eldest"
He had to smile, the words left a bitter taste in his mouth and he wanted nothing better than to loudly proclaim his love for his lady but alas! life was anything but fair-
"I've rejected them all" her soft voice broke him out of his musings
Ah there was someone in her heart
"I love someone else"
His heart broke
"But I don't think he loves me though"
What a fool that man must be. To not love a woman like her. What a fool indeed
...
The scene changed suddenly and he found himself standing outside a prison cell
Bewildered
"Felix"
Bright eyes which looked tired now stared up at him
She looked defeated
As if her entire joy, her reason of living had been sucked out of her
An angel from heaven
"You aren't speaking, she didn't do it. Believe me please she would never try something so evil"
An angel who fell from heaven
Somehow he can't control his own body.
He is going away walking away from her
No, he wants to stay, wants to call out to her
His lady
He remembers now
His only lo-
"It was you"
He halts, tears brimming in his eyes
"That day during the ball, the one I loved was you, Felix"
He continues forwardKnowing he can not stop even as the tears overflow his eyes
He doesn't stop until he was in the safe quarters of his room
Where he raged
...
The next time he sees her, she doesn't cry
Her eyes looked dead, so unlike her.
Perhaps the love she held for him was also gone now. Dead.
"Lily" he whispered as he held his sword to her neck.
He lets himself bask in the warm feeling of calling out her name
Blood dripped her neck
She was looking at him
"Felix...I love you, please protect Athanasia in my stead. Don't blame yourself"
More blood
It dripped and dripped
"Execute her" a cold and unflinching voice rang out the arena
Red
It was red
His sword moved on his own
Her head was butchered from her body, warm blood trickled down his face.
It was warm.
Warm like her embrace
Warm like her eyes
Warm like her voice
Warm like her
The warmth he never received from anyone else except her
She who loved him
"I love you, Lilian"
"I'll love you forever..."
...
