Hello! Thank you for giving my writing a chance. I appreciate it more than you know. Before we get into it, however, I want to specify a few things.

1. I'll update weekly, mostly on Wednesdays unless I'm somehow super busy that week.

2. This is purely written for entertainment purposes; I do not own Death Note nor the characters except for Kaira Kyani (MC), who is an OC of mine.

3. This story will contain mild violence, NSFW content (smut, perhaps NSFW art scenes), as well as coarse language. It is a story that is written and intended for a mature audience. (18+) I will specify before each chapter if there are some warnings.

4. In no way, shape or form, this story is meant to glorify power dynamics. Kaira is, indeed, a therapist, but Light is NOT her client and has never signed any contract whatsoever that declares him as such.

P.S. Let me know if you would be interested in a gender-neutral version of this story! In this particular version you're currently reading, I gave the female reader an identity because I find it easier to write. Still, I 100% would be open to posting the same story (with slight alterations) with a gender-neutral y/n for people who want to self-insert. Let me know!:)
