"How have you been feeling ever since your husband showed up at your door?"

"I was.. ecstatic. Five years of distress and pain was gone once I-"

Wanda quickly shut off the television. Ever since everyone had been freed from the Mind Stone last year, the whole world had been sharing how the whole in their hearts were fixed.

She saw it everywhere. Random families on the streets, cuddling and holding their children happily. Couples touching and kissing every chance they got. Friends holding hands and hugging.

Wanda hoped, that in her own apartment, maybe she could take a break from watching people live the life she wanted, but still, it was inescapable. The programs on television were not old sitcoms from the 90's anymore, much to Wanda's disappointment. They were solely interviews with everyday people asked on their emotions, and they were always happy.

Yet, Wanda had managed, somewhat. She lived in a comfortable small apartment, even though Tony had offered to build a whole building for her to live in, she declined. She had enough savings to pay for the monthly bills, to buy food and water, and keep her clothes clean.

She had her state of living all together, yet her state of mind.. not so much. Wanda could never stop herself from imagining what she'd be doing if the people she cared for most hadn't flown away from this world. She wondered how she'd feel, possibly like the people she saw everyday.

Wanda wanted so badly to let go of these painful feelings, but not even she was powerful enough to actually remove them. Instead, she left them where they were, never spoke on them to anyone.

It was clear that Wanda wasn't fully stable, even a blind man could see it, considering of how much Wanda had lost through the years. Steve had once suggested for her to let out her feelings, to someone, or maybe write on paper. She agreed to it, but never did.

Wanda knew it was not healthy to leave it in, especially this kind of feel, but it didn't matter. To her, letting go feels embarrassing, she knew she'd end up breaking down. So she just, didn't.
