Down the Rabbit hole

"Got it, thanks blondie." Mischief says. "Actually, it was me." We hear Klaus say.

"Nik, you helped?" Rebekah asks shocked. "You sound so surprised, little sister." Klaus says and we can literally hear the smirk on his face.

"Shouldn't I be? You dont want me to be human. You dont want any of us to be. Why would you help us find the cure?" Rebekah questions in slight disbelief.

"Maybe I realised the longer I stand in the way of what you want, the longer you'll continue to hate me. Perhaps I want my sister and best friend to finally know happiness." He says.

"Careful Nikky, Stefan might get jealous." Mischief says causing Klaus to chuckle. Rebekah on the other hand doesn't quite believe him.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me a hundred times." She states. "No more fooling. No more games. I hope you get to live, and die as you wish." He says. Rebekah's face softens and she grabs Mischief's hand for comfort.

"So do I." She says, slightly calmer now. "There is one more thing, Rebekah. There is only vial of the cure. You will have to fi-" Klaus rapidly says but the line dies.

"Nik? Nik?" Rebekah says. The three of us look at each other. 'Shit'.

"One vial?" Rebekah asks looking desperately at Mischief hoping she misheard. "It seems so." He says looking down heartbroken.

"No. Nope. Listen, you two get me the cure and I will find a way to duplicate it even if it costs me becoming it again." I say determined not to let my best friend/brother figure down.

"Luce. I can't let you do that." He says. "Sure you can. I duplicate the cure, if I do turn again, you stay a vampire and turn me back. Then take the cure and be a happy human."

Mischief is silent and I know he is thinking about what I said. Rebekah hugs me and whispers, "Thank you."

A while later the five of us are traipsing around trying to find the others. "What did Caroline say?" Elena asked. The three of us decided to keep it between ourselves so nothing goes wrong.

"Dont know. We lost the signal. Come on, this way." Rebekah replies. We slow down as we come to a massive drop. "We need to get down and across." She adds, looking at the images Caroline sent earlier.

"Advantage, vampires: all we have to do is jump. Lucy, darling you going to be okay?" Rebekah asks me.

"Ye, I can use some of Its power. Just enough to survive the jump." I reply. Getting ready.

"Wait, wait. Maybe you should leave the map behind. Incase you fall, you dont want anything to happen to the phone." Elena blurts out causing Mischief and I to laugh and Stefan to roll his eyes.

"Are we doing this again? I thought we were a team." Rebekah snaps. "We seriously do not have time for this. Come on lets go." Mischief says before stepping off the cliff and dropping down.

"Alright Elena, you go next. We will be right behind you." Stefan says. Elena looks hesitant but still she runs and jumps off.

Stefan is about to go before Rebekah stops him. "There's something you should know about the cure." She says as we share a look before looking at Stefan.

After telling Stefan about what Klaus said. I peer over the edge to see what looks Mischief and Elena speaking with Mischief walking around inpatient. "Hurry it up!" He shouts up to us.

"So you're sure Klaus is telling the truth? That theres only one dose of the cure? Well I guess thats what happens when your dumb enough to hold out hope." Stefan says.
