Chapter 23: In which everyone does their own thing

alright, first off, can i just say how much i love susan and lucy? they're unbothered queens and lucy absolutely knew what she was doing when she chose the water lily pond. she knows no one would argue with her. that's so funny pls she's underrated. and susan is like yeah i'm coming along bc i don't wanna die peace out and good luck everyone 🥰🥰🥰

BUT the best thing about these scenes is that the final and last cutaway is to Peter and nia, and right before, edmund says "they might actually be maturing" directly followed by Nia going "You're an idiot." KSJSJD COMEDY GOLD GIVE ME A TV ADAPTATION RIGHT NOW

this is random but peter and nia give me book sophie and howl vibes (not the ghibli movie they're too calm in that one lol) bc both couples bicker constantly, and at first ur like how do these people even get along, but bickering is their love language lmaoo

I appreciate the different relationship dynamics regardless of its platonic or romantic or whatever ! and I've said this so many times but I WILL NEVER SHUT UP about how natural the dialogue is?? sometimes i sit there like damn bc yk how awkward some dialogue is with books omg but the author could write a screenplay tbh 🤷🏻‍♀️

Chapter 24: in which Susan and Lucy be doing the least but looking the most

I honestly have no idea what to even say for this one, except that the scenery is super pretty ksjshdjd bc Lucy and Susan literally go grab a petal and enjoy the ambience and you know what? I love that for them. they deserve to have a break from the stress of putting up with everyone else LMAO

I rate this chapter 10/10 for therapeutic vibes. I actually felt calm reading it i'm not even kidding

the foreshadowing at the end though: "im sure [peter, nia, edmund, and enne] are fine" - susan
