Funeral

My best friend is crying, and I can do nothing. Chloe is in the front row, but i'm in the clear back, watching everyone cry. I don't drop a tear at this funeral. I look at the casket and see the body. It sends chills down my spine. I hate dead things, no matter what it is. Bugs, rats, fish, or even a person, it totally gives me the creeps. I twirl my long dark brown hair around my finger, wanting the funeral to be over. My parents were crying too, but I didn't feel bad for them. They did this.

After a long tearful hour, we went to bury the dead girl. She didn't have a grave stone yet, but it would be put up soon. The priest spoke about how much everyone would miss this girl, this lovely girl.

After the funeral, I went back to school. Being a senior was hard work. I didn't talk to Chloe, and she didn't talk to me. I went to all my afternoon classes, sitting where ever it had an open seat. This is weird. Usually, everyone fights over sitting by me, the popular girl. But i've been pushing everyone away for awhile now.
