Lola exhaled and looked away from Ibukun's scrutinizing eyes.

"Did you and Mr billionaire fight?" Lola was quiet. She said nothing. "I guess that is a yes."

"I didn't say so." Lola disagreed.

"So what is it?" She asked. Her voice was now filled with sincere concern. "I noticed how you drift off so easily. You don't even look so excited. What's wrong?"

"It's Demilade." She admitted.

"What about him? Did something happen to him?"

She shakes her head. "No... He just..." She decided to tell her friend about a part of the problem. "... We had a conversation about something very personal to him. It was something very sensitive which he also hates talking about. And he has been mad at me ever since because of it. I tried to force him... with something he don't want to do... I already apologized and sent messages that I am sorry but... " She stopped.

"He refuses to pick up your calls." Ibukun completed and Lola nodded.

Ibukun moved closer to her.

"It's so hard... I have gotten so used to talking with him. I just miss him. I miss everything about him. His touch, his kiss, his voice, his stares... I miss him terribly IB. It felt like something seize the breath out of me." Lola complained bitterly to her friend.

"My baby is so in love," Ibukun said. "It's okay. He will come around." She rubbed her back in a soothing manner.

"I don't know."

Ibukun smiled. "I guess this is your first major argument with him." Lola nodded. "That's why you feel this way. Moreover, you like him very much. Don't worry he will call you. He has just been stubborn and he is probably angry. But he will surely come around. Let me tell you something, he will probably be feeling the same way right now. He is just trying to punish you." Lola looked up at her friend. And Ibukun smiled at her.

"Well, he is doing great at it if that is the case," Lola replied. She wiped away the tears that almost drop from her eyes.

"I think so. But you will be fine. Just give him time. He will come begging."

"I really hope it is soon." Lola pouted. "I miss my boyfriend."

Ibukun grinned. "Look at what Mr handsome Billionaire had to turn my sassy girlfriend into. He deserves a trophy." And Lola chuckled. "Babe you know what, when he comes back begging, you should make it a bit harder for him."

"What do you mean?" Lola asked curiously.

"Look... look how you are because he didn't call you back. I, Ibukunoluwa am very confident that he will soon get tired and he is going to come back and beg. But I want you to try to play the tough game..." Lola was about to say something but she stopped her. "Listen. I know you miss him and you will want to hug him, kiss him and do all those other stuff with him," She said dramatically, gesturing with her hand and eyes which makes Lola smile. And also because she was right. She meant to do all that when they make up.

"But girl, you should let him know what he missed. Make him pay a little. This time he will be at the end of your mercy. And the ball will be in your court."

"I don't get you, IB."

She rolled her eyes. "I am saying you should let that sassy side of yours rule for a while. It will make you even realize how crazy he is with you." Lola seem to be thinking about what her friend was saying and Ibukun smirked. "You are going to know that he indeed misses you. And he is going to beg until you even start pitying him."

"I think I understand what you mean," Lola said with a sly smile.

"That's my girl." She commented and she winks at her. "I can give you some ideas if you want." She chirped.

Lola's face cracked into a broad smile. She trusts Ibukun to have crazy stuff in her head. She always wondered how her boyfriends cope with her. But it doesn't mean she won't hear her out. She was even eager.

"I'm all ears." And Ibukun smirked.

Second update. But this isn't as long as the first one. You might be wondering why I didn't divide it into two. I didn't want to. The scenes in that chapter are meant to be on the same page. Or divided on their own, not matching up with this one.

Anyway, that's that.

I know some people are damn waiting for Lola and Demilade lovey-dovey. There is more focus on that part. You will get it soon. But just so you know. This book is more than just romance. I'm sure you already know that by now.
