My name is Meep and I am sure most of you all will skip this note (as I myself usually skip the author's note as well) Nonetheless, I am writing this note more for myself than for the anonymous readers of the internet. I hope by writing this fan fiction and putting my work out into the world, I gain more confidence in myself and believe that I too have something special to bring to the table.
About this story: I do not think that it makes much sense for Pete to chose Vegas after the things that Vegas did to him. In all seriousness, I don't think it's cool to romanticize abuse of any sort, and I believe love in its truest form is pure. I love how the original author made Vegas and Pete complex characters with different upbringings, and I respectfully take these characters and present to you my version of their story.
For anyone who stumbles upon this note, I hope this story provides you with the escape you were looking for.
