Chapter 59- Before the Competition

The day of the Top Hundred Schools Competition soon arrived.

The contestants and instructors from all the major schools gathered outside of Phoenix Valley. Outside of the Valley, the contestants were whispering.

"I never thought that Qi Shaorong would actually represent Tianlan College for the competition, I thought it was just a rumor." Chen Yuan looked over in Qi Shaorong's direction, and rubbed his chin.

"Has the principal of Tianlan College gone crazy?" Yi Bing couldn't help but ask.

"I heard that many people at Tianlan College protested, but principal Hu Feng still insisted on it. Hu Feng was already nicknamed a lunatic, it seems that he's just becoming more and more crazy." Yi Huo said.

"Shaokang, your younger brother is so interesting!" Yi Bing looked at Qi Shaokang with a smile.

Qi Shaokang put on a somber face and said with a muffled voice: "Brothers, please listen to me. If you meet my incompetent younger brother in there, I would feel grateful if you could throw him out of the competition as fast as possible."

Chen Yuan rubbed his nose and said, "Is that really necessary?"

Zhang Hao frowned, and said, "Kicking him out is also for his own good."

Chen Yuan nodded, saying, "That's true, I really have no idea what Qi Shaorong this guy is thinking. I heard that he spent more than 100 000 gold coins to buy his place in the competition, with that kind of money, what can't he do?"

Over on Tianlan College's side, Qi Shaorong stood alone beside Hu Feng, while the other nine contestants kept a distance from Qi Shaorong.

Several instructors from Tianlan College tightened their brows one by one and looked at Hu Feng and Qi Shaorong with dissatisfaction. Hu Feng stood tall, with an expression of having won a prize on his face, and turned a blind eye to all the instructors who hated iron for not becoming steel.

Hu Feng looked at Qi Shaorong and urged: "If you meet Zhuang Hao, just do what you can, don't go overboard." Hu Feng thought of Qi Shaorong as his trump card, his biggest worry was that Qi Shaorong would go look for trouble with Zhuang Hao, and get kicked out of the competition.

"I know, Principal, you've told me this many times already," said Qi Shaorong impatiently. What Hu Feng said to Qi Shaorong was heard by others, they thought he just wanted to make Qi Shaorong feel better. Only Qi Shaorong knew in his heart that Hu Feng wanted him to be careful of Zhuang Hao.

Qi Shaorong looked in the direction of Zhuang Hao and the others, and said, "Everyone from Shenghuang University is looking at me." Hu Feng nodded and said, "Yes!" "Principal, I'll go over there for a while." Qi Shaorong said. Hu Feng didn't understand what Qi Shaorong wanted to do, but still nodded and said, "Okay."

Qi Shaorong walked towards the area where the contestants from Shenghuang University were gathered, causing a commotion.

Chen Yuan looked at Qi Shaorong and said with a smile on his face: "Fourth Young Master Qi, what is it?"

"I didn't come here for you," said Qi Shaorong.

Qi Shaorong took out a bracelet and handed it to Zhuang Hao, saying: "Zhuang Hao, this is the bracelet the Ghost Doctor asked me to bring you."

Zhuang Hao frowned and said, "This was given by the Ghost Doctor?"

Qi Shaorong nodded, "Yeah! Knowing that you are going to participate, this was specially meant to be given to you to help you win."

"Tell him I said thanks for his kindness," said Zhuang Hao.

Qi Shaorong smiled brightly and said, "Okay, I will take your words back to him."
