chapter 9

I had met up with the twins quite a bit, especially in the few days before the sports festival

They told me about how they were planning to open a pokemon sanctuary and in return I told them why I was gonna become a hero

Today was the sports festival or more specifically, the break before we 1v1s

We were all just chilling out together, Kinzoku and Akuma had dissappeard together a few minutes ago leaving two empty spaces on our table

Denki had a lot of portable chargers with him, I have no clue why but he looked like a child at Christmas, which was adorable. Then there was Hitoshi, sitting alone a table down from us, after his declaration of war some people in class didn't want him at our table

I went to sit with him but he told me he needed to think about how to use his quirk in the battles effectively, I agreed

I excused my self from my friends as my phone started ringing, I left the room, answering the call without checking who it was

"Hey Y/n!!"

"Oh! Hey Misao!"

"Good job getting into the last event!"

"Heh, thanks"

"MIASO ARE YOU TALKING TO Y/N WITHOUT ME?!!!"

"You're on speaker Y/n"

"Hey Mazoku!"

"Hey Y/n! You and the pokemon were so cool!!"

"Well obviously" "Misao!!! Let me compliment our friend at least once without you being sarcastic!"

The two argued a bit longer before I had to go

"Good luck Y/n!" "You'll do great!"

"You two sound like parents I swear"

They both laughed before hanging up and I got ready for what was to come

The round one matchups had mine being last so I had time to prepare myself, thankfully, the matchups were as followed:

Izuku vs Hito

Todo vs Sero

Kami vs Ibara Shiozaki

Iida vs Mei Hatsume

Aoyama vs Mina

Momo vs Tokoyami

Kiri vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

Bakugo vs Uraraka

Me vs Akuma

Then there was people like Kinzoku, who had to drop out due to being over her limit and not wanting to loose because of that, and Ojiro who dropped out cause he felt he didn't deserve to be apart of the final event, that takes guts

We were all sitting down talking together as a class while Izuku and Hito got ready

"Who do you thinks gonna win?"

"I think Midoriya will"

Uraraka is a Izu simp confirmed

"Depends on if he listened to me"

Ah, Ojiro told Izu how Mr Lavenders quirk works, this'll be fun

The two walked into the arena as Present Mic announced them, this went on until the match actually started

Hitoshi started talking to him, most possibly aggravating the greenette, which seemed to work as Izuku yelled but froze up moments later

"Why did he freeze?!"

Uraraka stands up, leaning over the railings, an expression of confusion covering her face

"Uraraka, its shinsos quirk"

"What?"

"Shinsos quirk allows him to take control of your mind"

"That sounds evil!" The grapes nazily voice butted in, extremely close to me as Meowth grunts - having been shoved off his chair

"One shut up and two it's one person a seat"

"We can sha- OW!!! Tell your rat not to attack me!!"

"Pikachu.... Good job bud"

I laugh as the grape looking trash runs off to a different seat with Meowth taking back his place next to me and Pikachu "patrolling" around us

A loud bang and crack came from the fight as a visible shockwave passed through, then the battle started

In his disbelief Hitoshi got caught off gaurd but still held his own against Midoriya before falling out of the arena

When Todoroki and Seros fight came up it was an obvious winner, the tape quirked boy was covered in ice, unable to move, the arena having an icy chill even after todo melted the glacier that imprisoned the other boy

The fights continued with no more interruptions or delays except for kiri and Tetsutetsus fight, both of them being evenly matched

When Uraraka and Bakugos fight began everyone in the class were tense

The explosions were loud and the cloud of dust and dirt only increased as the moments went by, rocks being scarcely visible under the blanket of dirt

Kin and Akuma returned just before it began, I have no clue where they went originally though, they were both just talking together

"Bakugos gonna win, he's going all out!"
Kin yelled, Akuma nodding in agreement

"Yeah, unlike the others in the class he recognises that he shouldn't underestimate them! Like a true hero"

Although others in the class had different views

"HES GONNA KILL HER, MY BEAUTIFUL BABE!!" Kin chucks a large steel marble at the grape boy, hitting him just below the eye

"Nice shot" Meowth laughed, high fiving the freckled girl

"He overreacts so much..." I roll my eyes as he continues to yell

"Yeah, we need something to shut him up"

"I can melt a slab of metal onto his mouth?"

"No it'll lead straight to you... we need to sew his mouth shut or something"

"Ye-"

"AND URARAKA IS UNABLE TO FIGHT! BAKUGO WINS!"

Bakugo wipes his brow as Kin, Akuma and myself cheer loudly

"Why are you guys cheering? He could've servearly hurt her"

"Atleast he doesn't underestimate anyone" I quickly snap, not even registering who said it

I look to Akuma as they start to fix the area

"Good luck"

"You too"
