"W-where is it?", Yeonjun asked in a calmer, but frustrated voice this time, fear visible in his slightly shaken tone as he stared at the male with nervous eyes.
It took Beomgyu a minute to catch his breath and recover a bit, still breathing hard when he straightened his body and looked at the older boy with watery eyes as his face was still red due to his blood accumulation and he barely managed to choke out in a hoarse voice, "I can't tell you", he said even though he was really afraid of the consequences.
"What do you mean you can't tell me?", a frown plastered over Yeonjun's face as he tried with his all strength to maintain his composure.
"You have to help me still"
A suffocating silence settled between the two as they maintained eye contact with each other and tried to reach those emotions which were buried in the depth of their shining orbs. Beomgyu could see the way the older's eyes were filled with a hidden panic or how his body shook slightly, and he knew, his words had hurt him really much. He hated to realise that he could do nothing about it, at least it wasn't his fault Choi Seojun was dead, he just happened to know about it. He didn't like seeing the pain in Yeonjun's deep, hazel eyes, yet he could never see anything else besides affliction in them. He took a small step towards him while Yeonjun was standing frozen in his place and looking at the younger male with a dumbfounded expression, but feeling him getting close brought him back to the bitter reality. Beomgyu reached for his hand since he wanted to comfort the male, but then the older's face suddenly started flaring and his arm swiftly raised up in the air, making the younger boy fall right to his feet as he lost his balance after receiving a hard blow in his face.
Yeonjun didn't want to believe Beomgyu's words, he didn't want to believe that all his hopes were futile and his brother was really dead. Maybe he had never met him, maybe he had never even seen his face, but Seojun had been his only hope ever since his parents died. He was hoping to find him and have him beside him because he needed him really bad, he needed the warmth of his family member to ignite an extinguished fire of life in his heart, he wanted to hug his hyung and never let him go, but now he was just left hopeless and life hurt even more.
Meanwhile, Beomgyu was in the living room, deeply lost in his thoughts with an ice pack against his cheekbone since Yeonjun had punched him really hard. It was still hurting like hell but he decided to hide it, especially, after Taehyun entered the room and put a cup of coffee on the table in front of him, "Drink, it's gonna be pleasurable in this cold"
Beomgyu nodded his head and gently held the cup with his free hand, taking a little sip and warming his body nicely with hot liquid which travelled down his stomach unhurriedly. His eyes watched as Taehyun took a seat on the armchair on the left side of the couch and rested his arms against the handles, his sharp, narrowed eyes drifting to the older boy in a curious manner, "How do you know Seojun is dead?"
Beomgyu tensed up at his question and barely managed to gulp down the coffee before placing the cup on the table and wiping his lips, "I-I think my father knew him"
"How?"
"I don't know", Beomgyu said in a guilty voice, squirming uncomfortably in his place, "But who is he?"
"Yeonjun will tell you by himself if he wants to"
Beomgyu gulped down again and softly nodded his head before looking away and removing the ice pack from his face, rubbing his injury which was still stinging a bit afterwards, "I'll take it if you don't need it anymore", Taehyun said politely as he got on his feet and held the pack after receiving a nod from the male, leaving the room.
