Bucky's POV:
I stand outside with Sam and Steve as Bruce was preparing the portal to return the Infinity Stones back to their rightful owners. We gave Doctor Strange his stone already
"It won't be the same without you" I point out
My best friend doesn't say anything. He grins
"Please... return safely" I put on a fake smile to keep from crying
We hug, knowing this'll be the last time we see each other, we make it count
"Okay, are you ready Cap?" Banner says
He nods, taking the suitcase and Thor's hammer before going into the portal
Tears begin swimming in my eyes
I tightly clutch Sam, being careful not to crush him
"Shhhhh" Falcon comforts
I pull myself together
"No, I'm fine" I sniff, pushing away from Wilson
"I'm gonna have to learn how to live without him" I stay strong
"Why would you wanna do that Buck?" A voice asks behind me
I turn around to see who it is
There he is. My best friend. I'm shocked and relived to see him
"Steve, what are you doing here?"
"I didn't say til the end of the line for 70 years for nothing, now did I?"
We hug and I never want to let him go again
"But I know how much you wanted that dance with Peggy!"
"You're more important than some dame. I can never let you go"
