Once in a small town in Ohio there were two best friends. May and Kiera. One day while they were hanging out, May collapsed. Only to find out she had a fatal disease that required a transplant of a heart and liver. But the issue was she needed the transplants to be from someone of the same gender and age. So Kiera volunteered. After many arguments May gave in and let her best friend give her life for her own. Before the surgery Kiera needed to talk to May. "May, I need you to promise me that every year on New Year's Day that you will bring my favorite flowers, roses, to my grave."
May agreed and walked away so she wouldn't have to see her dying friend any longer. So she did what Kiera asked and for the next three years she had brought the roses on New Years.
But then she moved to Paris for a job and couldn't bring the flowers because she was overseas. May just forgot about it thinking she could do it next year. But three hours after the clock stuck midnight she heard a quiet—barely audible—voice sing. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am on your planet."
May just thought she was hearing things so she went to bed. Then she heard it again but slightly louder. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am in your country."
Again, May tried to go to sleep but the voice just kept on getting louder. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am on your street."
At this point May was getting scared so she got up and got dressed. The voice was much louder now. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am outside your house."
May ran toward her closet, the voice was shouting now. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am on the stairs!"
May was debating if she should call the police but then the voice came again. "Give me back my heart and liver, I am in your bedroom!"
She was terrified but she tried to keep quiet.
"Give me back my heart and liver, I am" it stopped. "I am" it was a whisper. "I AM HERE!!"
It was Kiera. But it wasn't. She was covered in blood and her usual perfect hair was a mess. But the biggest difference was that she had no face. After that, May was never to be seen again. Later, Kiera's grave was found dug up.
