Natalie is sitting in her quarters when Boden comes to her door.
"Why is gallo on sick?" Boden asks
"Getting straight to the point I see! He wasn't feeling great so we took his temperature and it was a high fever! So I sent him home" Natalie says smiling
"Are you sure? This is the second time you've put someone on sick" Boden says confused
"I'm positive chief! And it's not my fault when my truck members get sick" Natalie says as Boden walks away
Boden is walking back to his office when he spots Casey
"Casey!" Boden shouts
"What's up chief?" Casey asks
"What's going on between Lewis and Gallo?" Boden asks
"I have no idea! They just told me they got engaged so I think everything's perfect" Casey replies
"Huh? Natalie just sent him home on sick leave?" Boden says confused
"I don't know chief! Maybe ask Kelly?" Casey says before walking away
It's halfway through shift and Natalie is still in her quarters when Kelly appears at the door holding a tray of food
"Cruz made Spaghetti! It's not as good as yours but I thought you might want a plate?" Kelly says
"I'm not hungry" Natalie says not taking her eyes off her paperwork
"Okay I deserve that but we need to talk about this Natalie!" Kelly says sitting down on her bed
"There's nothing to talk about! Gallo was wrong for shouting at you so I let him clear his head!" Natalie shouts
"Okay! There's no need to shout! I'm only here to smooth things over" Kelly says
"Your right! I'm sorry Kelly! It's just I'm in the middle of this situation and I don't know who to side with! My fiancé or my best friend! Should I be a Luitenent or a friend or a fiancé in this situation" Natalie says with her hands over her face
"Look I know its hard! Firehouse relationships are never easy trust me! But on shift you are a Luitenent and gallo is on of your men! You have to take actions as if you aren't engaged to him!" Kelly says smiling
"It's just really hard Kelly! I don't want to play the hot and cold game! I can't be his Luitenent one minute and his fiancé the next! They are two totally different things! I can't do both!" Natalie says frustrated
Boden then appears at the door after hearing the whole conversation
"So gallo isn't sick?" Boden asks
"Shoot!" Natalie says looking at Kelly
