Chapter 4: Invited In

My phone goes off around 5:30ish. Kiri is calling me. Surprised, I reach for my phone. 

"Hello?" I say.

"Hey! I was just wondering if your going to come down and eat. Havnt seen you since I talked to Mina" He replies.

"Yeah, I'm coming. Have you eaten yet?" I ask.

"No? Why?" He responds.

"Want me to make you something then?" I question.

"Sure! See you when you get down here!" He says, then hangs up.

I'm not as angry now. Or upset. Drawing always had it's way of calming me down. I put my iPad up and make my way downstairs. 

"Hey." I say.

"Hey Bakubro!" He says.

He's sitting on the couch looking at his phone. Mina is sitting next to him watching a movie with Dunce Face and Sero. I walk into the kitchen and get the supplies to make dinner.

Kirishima's POV:

I'm sitting at the edge of the couch, Mina beside my. Sero and Denki on the floor. They are all watching something. I'm looking at trans memes on my phone.

"Um, Bakugo is coming back with the food." Mina says.

I quickly shut off my phone. Don't want him to see. He hands me my food and I start eating. Usually when he makes food it's spicy, but this time it's not. I like that. I'm not really a big fan o spice. However, I'm betting if I had a bite of his it would be spicy. I tune into the movie they're watching. I don't know what it is. It doesn't really have my interest. I can tell it doesn't really have Bakugo's either.

...

I told Sero before we came down. Now just Denki and Bakugo I guess. 

My phone buzzes. I look down. A text. From... my sister?! She's never texted me!

How's my little bro? I really miss you E. Please get back to me once your not busy.

I'm not busy. Miss you too! What's up? 

I was wondering if anyone at your school knows? I just want to make sure your in a safe environment.

A couple of my best friends know, but that's it. And don't worry. They'll protect me if something happens.

Good to hear! See you this summer!

I look down at the messages. I really miss my sister. She was always there for me. When I got hurt, she was the one who helped me. When I was ad, she was the one to cheer me up. She was the fist person I came out too. I look over at where Bakugo was. He's gone? Where did he go?

I look at my phone. 6:15. I decide to go back to my dorm. When I get there I see Baku go leaning on the door frame.

"Look, I know I'm going to be the last person you tell. But whatever your secret is, I don't care. It may seem like I'm a heartless beast, but even wolves are loyal to their pack. So tell me, so that I can stop worrying and know your safe." He says.

"W-what do you mean?" I ask.

He sighs. "I really didn't want to admit this, but I'm genuinely worried about you. And every second that worry grows. I wasn't at first, but then I felt like you didn't trust me enough with something so important. Then it made me feel like you were scared to tell me. So, can you please just tell me your secret." 

"I'm sorry, I can't... I am scared to tell you. I'm scared to tell anyone. And with your personality, when I tell you, things could go so far south that I have to leave UA because I can't handle it. I really am sorry, but I'm so scared. Your my best friend and... and I can't risk that. If you really want to know so badly go talk to Mina. But I'm not going to tell you." I say.
