It is the morning of 12th May 2025, 20-year-old Rhea Pereira is on a solo vacation trip to Shimla, India. She was on a long break after a long time.

(10 am)

Rhea's P.O.V:

<Alarm going off>

My brain woke up but my eyes resisted, I looked for my phone to switch it off. With my phone in my hand, it took my sleepy ass some time to figure out it wasn't my alarm. I turned the other way to see a person's bare back, it wasn't very muscular but was hot, the shoulders were wide and the skin was kinda red. I tried to get my shit together, I lightly patted their back and they slightly jumped. They sat up and looked at me, their hand slapped their mouth and they gasped. At this moment I realized I was wearing nothing and my tits were out. That seemed like they knew me but I didn't remember anything. I guess I got drunk and ended up here but I was not hungover. I had never seen this man before but annoyingly enough, I felt a sense of comfort and belonging beside this person.

This may sound cringey but it felt as if I knew them for years.

They finally broke the silence,

"you!?"

"um...you know me?"

"uh-um, n-no"

"ohkay...how did we get here? Do you remember?"

"no, I don't"

This time the refusal seemed confident, they didn't stutter.

"are you sure you don't know me?"

"y-yes, I am pretty sure."

"I'll believe you but-"

"but?"

"I think I know you."

Their face turned pale quickly.

Seeing their discomfort, I said, "it is okay, you don't HAVE to tell me."

It now flashed my mind again that I was naked and the alarm was still buzzing. They turned the alarm off and said, "can we change now?"

I chuckled, "yup, but could I please change here while you change in the bathroom?"

"oh-okay" they hesitantly muttered.

They collected their clothes and waddled to the joined bathroom butt naked.

As they got in, I got up and for some reason took my time changing. While putting on my clothes, I was still frustrated over the fact that I was acquainted with this 'unknown' person before but had no memories of it. Seeing them coming out of the bathroom, I snapped back.

"do you really not know me?" I uttered

"w-why do you keep asking me? I really don't" they calmly replied.

A part of me believed them but tbh, I didn't.

"Can I get your number for when you decide to tell me where I know you from?" I passive-aggressively asked holding out my phone.

They took my phone and calmly said, "shore"

"what should I save it as?"

"uh-um, my name."

"ya, I need to know your name for that."

Their eyes looked a little sad hearing this sentence as if I was supposed to just remember their name.

"Jae Murphy, he/him."

"he/him?"

"yes, my pronouns..."
