The Royal Dragon

What? Where? Why? and WTF

On the inside of the walls is royal grounds where a girl of a young age walks. She is no threat to some but to many she is a curse. The castle walls are tall but not strong enough to keep out the evil. The walls rumble and shake with every ounce of evil poured into them. The time is ticking down to the very last second. She waits at the gates for the smoke to become a blaze with hate and discontent.

The guards are ready. The war awaits them beyond those doors. "tonight we fight!" the girl shouts. Their spears pounding on the earth in rhythm. "we fight for our freedom and our people" she takes a long deep breath "WE FIGHT FOR EACHOTHER!" as she finishes her speech arrows fly over head. The walls were not high enough to keep out the wrath of others.

The girl has been struck down.

"The Queen!" the warriors shout. To late to save her, she looks dead ahead. "To war we go for we are free! Dead or alive we fought!" and we shall win, I promise she told herself. "We the soldiers of ----- will fight for our queen and our people" one guard shouts. "Open the gates" the queen whispers loud enough for the guard next to her to hear.

"OPEN THE GATES!" and as the gates open the smoke of hell pours in. to war they go. To win they do not know.

"Wow" said one child. "so what happened after that, Kimia??" questioned another child. "Well we aren't sure pibble" said Kimia. "Please Kimia call me Pibb" said the little girl. Kimia only smiled and nodded her head. "I must be on my way little ones, I'm sorry I was only able to stay for a short period of time," Kimia said sadly. "I'll be back tomorrow!" She promised as she got up and headed for the back door. "Wait Kimia!" yelled Pibb "You can't stay a little longer?" Pibb asked with tears on the verge of falling. "I'm sorry Pibb, I must go or I'll be in trouble, you know I'm not supposed to be here!!" Kimia said trying to get the little girl to understand.

"Oh, that's right, your mother doesn't like children much...let alone orphans..." Pibb said with tears slowly rolling down her cheeks. "I wish she didn't act the way she does, but she is my mother and I have to obey her" Kimia said coldly but with sympathy laced in her voice. 'I really do wish I could stay longer Pibb, I really do' "Alright, I'm heading off!" Kimia shouted as she left the big white building that had vines and flowers sprouting out the back into a garden and playground.

'I must hurry home or mother will surely lock me away and starve me again for being irresponsible with my time' I rolled mu eyes as I head through the forest behind the orphanage. 'This should land me in right wood street' Kimia hoped she was right. As she neared the city she felt as though someone or something was watching her. She swings her head to the right and sees nothing. Without having proof that someone was there she continued her walk to the street.

Voices can be heard from afar 'Aa Ha I've found it. Pretty smart after all, how bout that mother' Kimia emerges from the woods and try's acting natural. "Kimia you idiot" a voice said from her right. "Ack! Jack you scared the shit out of me!" Kimia half shouted. "Well then maybe you shouldn't be sneaking around" Jack stated. "Well...I uh who said anything about sneaking around?" Kimia tried to ask but really just gave herself away. "Oh I don't know lets ask the one who came out of the woods and started walking down the street like a chicken?" Jack asked. "That's a perfect idea so wher- You ass you're talking about me! I didn't look like a chicken!!" Kimia yelled. People started to stare at her like she was crazy. Which I'm sure she probably was. 'You right I probably am.' "Aa HA so that was you who came out of the woods! I caught you red handed!" Jake shouted back at her.

Kimia stood there dumbfounded. "Wait I thought you saw me!?" Kimia questioned. "No, I didn't see you I only assumed because of all the leaves and sticks in your hair.." Jake said while holding back a chuckle. "What.." Kimia reached for her head and was met with the feeling of leaves and some sticks. pulling a few sticks out, she picked the biggest one that came out of her hair and started to beat jack with it. "You jerk you could've told me before!!" She yelled while still hitting him. "That wouldn't have been any fun" Jack exclaimed will try to catch his breath from all his laughing.

Sudden realization hit Kimia. "Oh fluffer nuffers!" Kimia cursed. "What's wrong?" Jack asked with a raised brow. "I need to go!" Kimia said while walking away. "Wait!" jack said and reached for her arm "what's wrong?" jack asked again. With a big sigh Kimia said "I have to meet with my mother and I'm already very late.." she looked down and knew now that she couldn't see the kids tomorrow because she'll be locked away again.
