13 year old Josie, Mark, Luke, and Gena where hanging out. They wanted to explore town. So they just were riding their bikes. They found a strange hole that was dug in the woods. So they decided to come back tomorrow cause it was to suspicious to just leave there.
The next day they were all busy except Mark. So he went there but there was nothing different. So he called them to tell them that nothing was different and that it was probably an animals home or something like that. Then they never said anything about it again.
Until, they heard the news on the tv. "Young Jane Smith went missing in the woods. No one yet to find her people say she is dead. If this is true God bless her and her family. Back to you John." Said a news reporter. When they all heard this they quickly met.
It was silent until
Gena: "We all know what this means, right."
Josie: "No what I'm confused."
Mark: "It most likely means that Jane is dead and her body might be in the hole."
Josie's eyes lit up.
Luke: "I think we should probably go check the hole."
Mark: "Yeah, But not now people might see us we should do it at night."
Gena: "Ok."
It was dark out so they all met at the woods.
Josie: "Oh hey guys I forgot you guys were coming!"
Gena: "Shhh! Do you want to be caught."
Then they all walked in the woods with flashlights looking for the hole.
Mark: "Guys we can not find anything let's just go back to our houses."
Luke: "No, if we find it well then we could be hero's."
Josie: "Guys we probably shouldn't be looking for a hole. If there was really a dead body in there then she would be buried.
Gena: "yeah, your right. Does anyone remember where it was."
Mark: I think I do cause I was the last one there."
They all followed Mark and then there they were. The same tree they saw. The same tall plants. They tried to dig with their hands. (Expect Josie)
Gena: "Josie why aren't you digging."
Josie: "Because I don't know where to put these."
Then Gena looks up and realized that Josie has shovels in her hands. So they all started using them they weren't that mad at Josie for not giving them to them but she knew Josie has a thought disorder. But then when they were done digging they found something crazy. A casket, Mark went to open it but Luke stopped him.
Luke: "You sure you want to do this?" We could just go home and forget about everything that happened."
Gena: Stop being a wimp Luke! You can go home if you want."
Luke was a bit embarrassed but he just pretended it was fine. Mark opened it and they all were shocked.
