Mondays we're never fun, but its an exemption if it was the first day of school, at least for some. But for someone like Chaeyoung, mondays will always be the worst day the almighty God above may have created. Imagine getting up early in the morning to prepare for school just to have your heart, mind, and soul fucked inside a 4-cornered room. Just the worst.
And so the great Chaeyoung came up with a solution. 'Just arrive late', as what she always says, which actually kinda makes a good point. Its better to sleep to your heart's content and go to school and suffer than to have insufficient amount of sleep and forcing yourself to go to school. I guess.
Chaeyoung yelped as she felt a pillow smack her face. And she's not gonna lie, that was a good smack. It woke her entire being, from head to toe. Her eyes flutter as one of their maids opened the window's curtains. Knowing her room has full glass windows, she was not gonna have a nice time opening her eyes.
"Son Chaeyoung! You irresponsible child! How many times did I tell you to stop being late to everything!" With a pillow in hand, Mrs. Son was, again, ready to throw hands.
Chaeyoung slowly opened her eyes, adjusting to the rays of light the early sun what giving out. As she sees her mom standing right beside her side of the bed, she can only sigh in defeat. Her habit was always an issue. She was know to be 'Ms. Late', may it be in school, family gatherings, special occasions, holidays, you name it.
"God mom, you know I helped dad with stuff last night. At least give me credit by letting me sleep more. Geez." The child whined as her mom dragged her out of bed.
"Stand up and take a bath. Its your first day of school Chaeyoung."
As to having no choice, Chaeyoung got up and tidied her bed. After lazily fixing her bed, she stretched her way inside the bathroom to take a warm shower. The glass fogged up in steam indicating how warm the water is.
Chaeyoung is the only daughter of the Son's. Her father being a famous artist in Seoul and her mom being a surgeon, they we're able to live a comfortable life. A big house, big room, her own service car, and having to do things she wishes to do. She will never be able to express how grateful she is. She may come off a troublesome child but in her heart, she will always cherish her family. She was also able to go to one of the most prestigious schools in the city, JYP University. The home of successful singers, dancers, and actors.
"Good morning peeps." Chaeyoung greeted as she enter the dining room with a subtle smile. She already fixed her hair and applied light make-up and was already in uniform.
"Good morning strawberry, come and lets have breakfast together. Jeonghoon was just showing us his pictures from his shoot last saturday."
"Good morning dad, Jeonghoon. Did mom leave already?" Chaeyoung asked as she didn't see her mom sitting beside her dad in the table. She took a seat and reached for a toast of bread and strawberry jam.
"Oh no sweetie, your mom's in the kitchen getting some ice-cream. Your brother wanted some." Mr. Son answered.
"Noona look! I look handsome don't I? I can't wait to post the pictures later." Jeonghoon was Chaeyoung's younger brother. He was pursuing his dream of being a famous model. Chaeyoung and their family was always supportive of him, but sometimes Jeonghoon goes to shoot early in the morning, not having enough rest which make them worried.
Jeonghoon proceeded to show Chaeyoung his shoot through his phone. He swiped the screen from right to left, excitedly showing his sister the photos. "You look ugly." Chaeyoung teased and took a bite of her bread.
"Yah! You're just jealous of my handsome face." Jeonghoon retorted. Mr. Son laughed.
"You wish." Chaeyoung smirked.
