Lola smiled, impressed. "That's very impressive. My boyfriend is so smart. I was just pulling your legs. It's nice that you try to pick some point in what I said and even watched a little. I know you are not a fan of movies but you still try to grab something and you gave a beautiful review despite you were mostly watching me. That's also sweet. Just letting you know." She winks.

Demilade laughed heartily. He swears he loves this girl and her cheekiness.

"I am craving ice cream, " she said out of the blue.

"Really?" he asked.

"Yes."

"Okay then. Let's go to Coldstone. The movie has ended already."

"Yes. I like that. The four hours actually worth it, " she commented and she stood up, stretching her arms and legs. "You didn't even finish your popcorn." She eyed his half-finished popcorn.

"You can have it if you want, " he said. She grinned and she gladly took it from him. "Do you know that you've finished two packs of popcorn?" She nodded. "Aren't you full?" he asked as they walk out of the cinema room.

She shook her head. "I didn't eat before leaving the house. And you don't expect me to just stare at a four-hour movie without chewing something."

"Don't you do that while you watch a movie at home on your phone?"

"This is different na."

"No be only different." He mocked her.

"So you are using style to mock me shebi."

"Whatever you call it, " he said and he walked ahead of her and she followed after him to catch up with his pace. "Slow down joor."

"Sorry, your highness, " he said teasingly. And she laughed gaining a little attention to their side.

"Demmy can I ask for a favour," Lola said.

Demilade nodded. "Yes, you can. You don't have to make the puppy eye." And she laughed.

"It's just to make it work faster." Now was his turn to laugh.

"What do you want to ask for?" he asked still smiling.

"Can my siblings come to spend the weekend at your house?"

"With me?"

"Yes." She nodded. "I want them to come and spend their midterm break at your mansion. They need a change of environment for a while. And my brother is also curious to see what your house looks like."

"How old are the twins again and your brother?"

"Tife and Tito are eight and Dan is nineteen, " she answered.

"Okay then, " he replied with a shrug. "I don't have a problem with that. The house does need more lives in it. But are you coming along too?" He asked.

"Of course, " she said and he breathed out in relief. "Why? Do you think I was going to leave them without staying with them?"

He shrugged in response.

She laughed out loud not caring where she was.

"How do you want to take care of two eight-year-old girls? Daniel hardly got time for them to talk less about my busy boyfriend. Or do you want to stay with them all day?"

"Of course not. How do you want me to cope? Deborah would have handled them."

"I bet she can't. Except they like her of course. But don't worry, I will be there. They'd never travelled alone, I can't leave them."

"Alright. I'll be happy to have your companies in my house."

"Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me. Anything for you."

She smiled gratefully and she pecked him on the cheek.

"When is their midterm break?"

"Next week."

He shook his hand. "Okay. I will tell Deborah to prepare for your visits. But will your dad be okay with it?" He asked.

"He is going to miss us but he won't disagree either. I got my way of handling my father." She said proudly. And Demilade just smile.

"You don't mean it," Daniel said to his sister. They were in her room. She just told him about Demilade agreeing to let them visit his house for the midterm holiday.

"I do. He is letting us stay. He is totally fine with it."

"And he is not going to be mad that some local children are coming to his house?"

"Will you stop doubting me, Dan? And why are you referring to local children? Just because you grow up in this kind of environment doesn't mean you're local."

"It is. But how do you even convince him?"

"He is my boyfriend. I don't need to convince him. All I did was ask for his permission," she said.

"Okay o. Another thing is will dad agree to it? We've practically never left this house."

She smiled coyly. "Don't worry. I will handle that."

"I trust you with that. And how was your date?" he asked.

"It was amazing." she answered excitedly.

I know I promised to update frequently. Sorry, it's coming a bit late. I have been so lazy to type. I was busy watching Vincenzo since last week. If you are a fan of Korean movies, I recommend you watch them. It's really worth watching.

But here we have it. I will be updating another by Saturday by the grace of God. Until then.

To my Muslim readers, HAPPY ID EL  FITRI in advance.
