Maddie's POV:
I whiped the cold sweat off my forehead. I had just gotton done with my gymnastics training. I do artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. I've been practicing for about 3 hours now. So I went to the locker room and got changed. When I walked out I saw Taylor sitting there on a bench with a football in her hands, spinning it slowly while waiting. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Ready to go?" she asked.
"Yeah! Thanks for waiting!" I said.
"Sure thing!" she replied. "Always avalable to help a friend, unless I'm watching football, which then you'll have to call someone else." she said. I laughed at her remark. "But anyway, we're meeting the rest of the girls at the dance studio."
"Okay, cool. So, how've you been?" I asked
"We live together, but eh, I've been better. What about you?"
"I'm tired right now."
"I second that." Taylor said.
All of us were on different dance teams and we all met at finals at last years dance competition. It was lots of fun! After that, we all became best friends, and they all came to my dance acadamy, where we are today.
Anyway, back to reality. We walked out of the gym, and into her car. I wouldn't call it nice, but it was very petite and cute and all of us adored it.
Once we were at the stuido, we saw Ashlyn run towards us, just in her dance leotard.
"Hi girls!!" Ashyln said.
"Hi!" we both said.
"IT'S SO FLIPPIN COLD OUTSIDE!!!!" Taylor yelled while spinning in circles.
"Yeah! And poor Ashlyn, outside in just in her leotard. Let's go inside."
We walked in and as soon as we did, Megan and Amber walked to us, also in their uniform. Our usual uniform. Our usual uniform were leotards; our colors were Navy blue and silver, and we had to have our hair up. Our team name was Lancaster Dance Acadamy.
"Hey guys!" Amber said.
"How's it going?" Megan asked.
"Eh, I'm alright." Taylor replied.
"Again with the 'eh' thing? Really?"
"It's a free country," Taylor said while shruging.
"I'm good. What about you guys?" I replied
"Tired."
"Nervous."
"Thirsty." Were the 3 responses I heard.
"So, we're going to get changed. Where's Mrs. Jackson?" I asked.
"She's running late." Amber said.
"Well when she comes back let's not keep her waiting! Let's go!" Taylor said running towards the changing rooms, while pointing her finger towards the direction she was running.
I slowly followed behind.
After we got changed we walked back into the studio, and everyone was here except Mrs. Jackson. Everyone looked worried because she was 30 minutes late.
Even the meanest of girls like Ellie truly cared for their dance instructor.
Another 30 minuutes passed, when we got a call.
"Hello?" Amber asked slowly to the unknown number.
"WHAT?!" she screamed. "Um, yeah, totaly........... how bad is it!?...........Okay, what hospital?......... Ok, thanks so much, we'll be there soon." she ended the call. Everyone was very concerned with Amber's suddon outburst. Useually she's quiet and shy. "She's been shot, and it's really bad!" Amber said.
Everyone in the room gasped, and bombarded her with questions.
"What hospital?"
"What happened?"
"How long ago?"
"Is she okay?"
"Who will be our sub?"
And I could tell Amber looked very overwhealemd. I guess Taylor noticed that too.
"EVERYONE SHUT UP AND LEAVE THE POOR GIRL ALONE! ONE. QUESTION. AT. A. TIME." she yelled. That seamed to do the trick. "Ok, now Amber, tell us, what the caller said." she said slowly.
"Um, well, the police officer said that was private info, but she got sent to the hospital. It's at the Oakwood Hospital, and it happened about an hour ago." she said shyly.
"Okay, so how about four of us go, and the rest just stay back until further instructions."
"I wanna go!" Taylor shouted.
"Same here." I said.
"I'll go," Ashlyn said.
"I'm coming to," said Ellie.
"Ellie, I don't think that-" Taylor started.
"No. Wheather you like it or not, she's my dance instructor too, so I'm coming."
"She has a point." I said.
"Who's side are you on?" Taylor asked.
"I'm just being fair, now come on."
"Ugh, fine." she said.
"Megan, watch the girls, and just practice yesterday's routine." I told her. She gave me a thumbs up. "Alright. Now let's go."
