So my name is Melody but you technically don't need to know that. ALl you really need to know is that my father is a very strange and mad man. He taught me a strange language when I was young. On my 18th birthday I finally found out why. It started out as a normal day, running around solving crimes for the Scotland Yard, since there were no interesting cases to solve on our own. My father is who they call The Doctor. My father likes to tell everyone that he is an Army doctor. Though I know he goes by The Doctor because he likes to help people and not because he was an Army doctor. He solves crimes with Sherlock Holmes, and he knows my father by the name of John Watson. We ended up starting a couple investigations with the Scotland yard and then finally Solved the case of "The Speckled Band." It was a pretty interesting case if I do say so myself. At the end of everyone's work shifts my father and Sherlock threw me a party , or moreso my father threw me a party. All of their friends who over time have become like family to me, were gathered at 221 B Baker Street. It was a fun time and I got some notebooks from Sherlock so I can document my findings and cases in them. I got a Necklace from Molly. I got some cold cases that they need help on from DI Inspector Lestrade. From Mary I got a bottle of the perfume I love. My father gave me a screwdriver and everyone was confused about that. After everyone left and Sherlock finally went to be it was about 22:30 of my 18th birthday. My dad asked if I remembered the strange language he taught me when I was younger.
I had said" Yeah I remember the circular language you taught me when I was little."
Dad replied back with" Good, the proper name for it is Circular Gallifreyan. It is the language of us timelords learn when we are first created, and you my little Melody are one of us. You are a timelord.''
I gasped as I remembered the stories dad would tell me of his adventures when he was tucking me into bed. I never believed them until now. Nobody knew of course that there were time lords out there, or that two were living in this flat with a civillain. My dad passed me the keys to his Tardis saying" My time as The Doctor has come to and end and I am choosing to live here for the rest of my life. It is now your time to take on the name and role of The Doctor.''
I can now call myself a timelord and The Doctor. I ended up traveling to help people, races, and Aliens every other night or when I am not busy helping "Uncle Sherlock" on a case since "I'm not an idiot" as he says.
That is how I became The Doctor.
