It was around 8 AM when Dream's alarm went off. He quickly woke up from the blaring noise and turned off his alarm. Light from his window was shining in his face causing him to squint his eyes. He rubbed his eyes, got up and stretched, his lower stomach slightly exposed. Dream went over to his closet, pulling out some sweatpants and a lime green hoodie. He went into the bathroom, cleaning up a bit and changing into the new clothes. Dream then walked out of his room and was greeted by his cat, Patches. She rubbed against his leg, meowing. Dream smiled and kneeled down, petting her. "Hey, baby. Do you know where dad is?" Patches looked up at Dream and tilted her head. "Of course, he's probably at the bar or something. It's fine." He rubbed Patches head before standing back up. He left to school after putting his shoes on and saying bye to Patches.

George had been awake since around 6am. He took morning showers so he woke up earlier so he could get a shower and do any extra things he may want to do. Today was no different. George woke up, got a shower, got dressed then finished up his homework by his window as the sun came up. Once he finished up his homework around 6:55am he put his things into his backpack then made his way out of the house. George usually left before anyone else in his house could even say anything to him, he didn't care to talk to them much. He knew it usually wouldn't end out well.

Once Dream got to the school, he texted George saying 'Hey, George. :) Where are you?'. He walked to his locker, grabbing a few books from it. School started at 9:00 and it was around 8:30 at the time.

George was making his way into the school when he got Dream's text. He texted back 'Im walking into the school right now, where are you?' He replied as he started to make his way to his locker.

Dream got George's text and looked around. He then saw George and snuck behind him. 'Definitely not right behind you.'.

George put his things into his locker before he checked his phone and read Dream's text. He looked behind him and saw him and rolled his eyes "you're so annoying." George said with a laugh.

Dream silently wheezed and pat George's head. "How ya doin, shortie?"

George laughed a bit and pushed Dream's hand off of his head. "rude, and im alright. how are you?" He asked as he turned back around and grabbed what he needed for his first class.

He shrugged. "Could be better." He did tell George about his dad issues. He was the only one that knew. Dream silently sighed.

George glanced at Dream and reached up patted his head. "hopefully it'll get better" he said before turning back and closing his locker.

Dream smiled. "Thanks.. at least I have Patches with me there." The small cat has been with Dream through most of his life. She had always comforted Dream whenever he felt down. It was like she knew what was going on..

George nodded "I'm glad you do." He spoke giving him a soft smile. George locked up his locked then turned back to Dream. He did hope things got better though. He knew he's gone through some stuff and he was honestly glad he had patches because she seemed to help him.

He nodded and looked at the time. It was 8:40. "More kids are about to start coming into the building soon." He rubbed his head knowing he'd have to deal with another storm of girls. He always has to every single day. "Wanna go to the library?"

George didn't really have girls going for him, he'd be surprised if someone did come up to him how they did to Dream. It's happened once or twice and even then he didn't really know what to do. "Oh, yeah." George said at the first statement then replied to his question "sure"

Dream smiled. "Great! Let's go escape people for a little bit." He softly grabbed George's arm and took them both to the library. He then let go and sat down at one of the tables.
