Niki leaned back into her sofa.

Before her conversation with Marley, Niki had been on the phone with her parents about a plan for Christmas however this year they weren't going to be able to make it. Something to do with their company and the fact that there was bad weather predicted in Germany this coming week.

Was Niki able to go to France through that perspective? Yes. However was she scared? Maybe?

Niki thought that this would have to rush their relationship as they only had their first date around two- three weeks ago however as Marley had suggested: what if it could be a second date?

A positive would be seeing Genevieve early than expected but what if her parents didn't like her. Marley said they were nice people but what if they didn't like the way she dressed or the way she spoke? Millions of thoughts ran through the streamer's brain.

It should be Genevieve's opinion that matters most but the validation from other people was crowding into her thoughts.

"Hey, I'm home!" Genevieve called out, closing the door behind her. "What are you smiling about?" She asked her roommate who was smiling at her laptop screen.

" Just booked the tickets to France however I've got some bad news."

"Oh no what? Uni already killed me today." Genevieve commented, sitting by Marley.

"I can't go with you to France, grandma Cookie is finally having surgery done and she want her favourites there, which I am honoured to be one." Marley explained.

"I hope everything goes well but why did you book tickets then, I could have come with you, going alone isn't as fun."

"Who says you were going alone?" Marley questioned, a smirk rising in her face. "Niki's coming with you."

"I'm sorry, what?"
