Rebekah's POV

Alex and I were still planning our wedding. Most of the time we had fun and I could tell that Alex was really happy. Other times I could see the insecurity and the fear coming out.

After the break up with Maggie, Alex was weary if I would stay or not. Every once in a while I could see her start to think this and I would have to reassure her.

Right now Alex was at the DEO working and I had just finished a mission that the president sent me on. I made my way to Kara's house knowing that Lena was there with the baby.

I knocked on the door and she answered it with Alura in her arms.

"Oh hi Rebekah. Would you like to come in?" She smiled. I followed her in and closed the door behind me.

"I hope Im not bothering you" I said sheepishly.

"Not at all! Alura was just going to go down for her nap" Lena says. She takes Alura away to a room and I sit at the kitchen counter to wait.

I few minutes later she returns.

"So, to what do I owe this visit from my future sister-in-law?" She asks.

I wring my hands nervously and try to think of how to word it.

"Alex really wants kids, and she really wants to settle down" I begin.

"Yes? Isnt that your plan?" She asks.

"It is! But Alex is having a hard time believing it. After everything that happened with Maggie it really messed her up. I can tell that shes scared that I'll leave or I'll change my mind about kids" I say.

"She understands that you are her soulmate. Im sure that you remind her that you care and would never do that too" Lena says gently.

"Yes, and I'll keep doing it. But..." I trail off.

"But?"

"Look, I know that this is already moving fast but I want to speed it up" I blurt out.

"Speed up? Speed up exactly how?" Lena raises an eyebrow.

"I want to marry Alex tomorrow, and I need you to finish the birth control" I rush out.

Lena stares at me blankly for a moment. She blinks and looks away in thought. She paces her kitchen and reaches for her phone on the counter. I see her typing something and then set it down. Not five seconds later theres a thump from outside and Kara walks in.

"What the heck is going on here!?" She says.

"Darling, indoor voice please. Alura is sleeping in the nursery" Lena says calmly.

"You want to marry my sister tomorrow?" Kara asks. I could see her eyes studying me and she gets up close.

"I already know shes my soulmate and I want to make her happy.  I know how much she wants kids and I want to do that, but I wont without marrying her. I want to show that I'm in this and I'm in to stay" I explain.

"You want to marry my sister-in-law to jump her bones?" Lena asks bluntly.

"No! Thats not the reason I want to marry her! I love Alex and I respect her. I know she wants kids and Im more than willing to start now, but I want to put a ring on that finger to show that Im here to stay. I know thats the only way that she will finally get the message and not think I'm like Maggie" I say.

Lena and Kara look at each other. The blonde gives a small nod and Lena walks out of the kitchen.

"Although this does seem rushed, I trust you with my sister. I really doubt that you would ever hurt her purposely but if you do I will throw you into Rao's light. Do you understand?" Kara says quietly.
