Lexis POV
"She's beautiful" Dom marveled staring at her sleeping form as she laid on my chest
"I know. You've said a million times."
"But I love ya a million times. So it's even." I smiled and and turned to face him, my cheek now on the pillow "Kiss?"
"Yeah. Course I want a kiss" he smiled and kissed me softly, bringing his hand up to my cheek even though I couldn't move because of lily "I love you" I mumbled into the kiss. He smiled and pulled away, pressing a gentle kiss to my nose before pulling away
"You too"
"Guess you two are too busy eating each other to worry about this food." I giggled and looked over to see Tom holding up the food "Your mum has gone to check on Izzy since she's at their hotel alone and no one can pick her up until later. She told me to ask if she can come here?"
"Yeah. Course she can." Dom sat up and took the bags from Tom "You wanna take lily for me while I eat?" He shook his head
"Nah. I've got food for myself. Just put her down in the cot she'll be fine." I nodded and layed her down in the tiny plastic cot at the side of the bed before sitting up. It hurt a little and I tried my best to mask the pain but Tom was watching me "You can say it's hurting Yknow. I mean ya did just birth a child."
"Can't forget. Got my gorgeous girl though." I looked over at her sleeping peacefully "Its a shame you guys have to go soon."
"But it will be fine. We'll be here to come get ya tomorrow." I nodded and graciously took the food from Dom "your mum's on her way back here. And apparently Izzy is practically dying with excitement over meeting lily."
"Will you take them home for me Tommy?"
"Sure I can. Would you like anything from down there?" I thought about it then shook my head
"Nope. Got everything I need"
"Okay. I'll be back here tomorrow afternoon if I drive her tonight"
"Awe don't exhaust yourself bubs. If you don't make it that's okay"
"No I've got to bring my girls home. End of" he smiled at me and I smiled back softly
"I am fucking here Yknow." Dom spoke up making me giggle
"I know. It's not like I'm snogging him is it? Besides Tom's your favourite"
"No hes- fuck I'm not even gonna bother arguing that." He rolled his eyes and started eating his food whilst me and Tom were both laughing. Dom poked me "Food." He mumbled with a mouth full of his own
"I'm tired."
"Then you can finally go to sleep when you've eaten something. We will be here when you wake up" he kissed my temple gently "Just finish that and then you can sleep

"She's so precious when she sleeps." Dom said tracing the features of my face with his finger, trying carefully not to wake me from what he thought was sleep "I don't want to wake her up. But mum will be here soon."
"Can't she hold Baba while lex is sleeping?" Tom spoke up "She does look fucking cute like that. It would be a crime to wake her now. After being so fucking strong during that too." There was silence and I opened my eyes to see Tom looking confused. He noticed me and we locked eyes for a second or two but he didn't say anything. Dom wasn't looking in my direction but I figured his expression was the same and Tom's was in response to Dom's questioning "What? I can be proud of her too."
"I know. But you just...I don't know. Still surprises me the way ya talk about her."
"Well I love her." I smiled and Tom's smile in response was what alerted Dom to the fact I'd woken up
"Hi baby. Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah. I did actually."
"Good." He leaned forward for a kiss "mums gonna be here soon with Izzy. Mind if I go wait outside for them?"
"No. Don't mind. I'm happy here with Tommy and the Baba."
"Okay love. I won't be long. She texted ten minutes ago saying she was waiting for a taxi." I smiled at him as he got up
"See you soon." I smiled until he was out of sight then turned to Tom "You cried. Well kind of hysterically sobbed but I'll take it." He chuckled lightly "Is everything alright though?"
"Just a bit overwhelming. You were in so much pain and I couldn't do anything about it. It hurt like hell if I'm honest."
"But I'm alright now." I put my arms up "I wanna hug you but I also wanna avoid getting up cus it kinda hurts. So come here you" he stood up and leaned down to hug me but just as I got comfy the baby started crying "Lils always knows how to ruin a moment." I joked
"Can I feed her?"
"Sure." I said confidently and almost straight away. I trusted him. He smiled as he picked up a crying lily from her crib and calmed her down by bouncing her ever so slightly. I handed him the bottle and he settled down in the chair holding her perfectly and watching in awe as she suckled on the bottle "You in love already?"
"Yeah. She's perfect." He looked down at the baby on his arms and smiled at how she was now asleep there "I love you." He whispered kissing her forehead gently and standing up with her "Let's out you back in the bed before auntie Izzy comes and wakes you up again eh?" He cooed placing her gently down after a short walk to the other side of the bed. He fussed over her a little before eventually leaving her there and watching her instead"I will love you forever little one." He said softly "Forever and ever." I smiled at him interacting with her
"She's not going anywhere Tommy. You can come sit down."
"No. I'm fine here." I chuckled softly at him
"Okay. As long as you need." He sat down, the back of his head resting on the hospital bed frame while he looked up at lily occasionally tracing his finger across the plastic sides
"She's perfect lex"
"Sure is."
"No one's ever gonna hurt her." He said clearly getting emotional. I ran my hand through his hair softly and he relaxed a little, his breathing calming down
"No. They'll have to get through you and the boys first."

Dom walked in a little while later with mum and Izzy in tow. He raised an eyebrow at the sleeping Tom who was in the same position as before
"He wouldn't leave lily. So I let him stay there. Looks like you've got competition."
"He's not that bad." Tom started stirring and I felt like I couldn't respond with what I was actually thinking. Because I believed he was that bad, and wouldn't leave lily alone which was gonna annoy Dom if it wasn't already "I didn't mean what he was doing. I mean him as a person, being around lily and that" I smiled at how he read my mind "This family works, as unconventional as it is. And I'll teach our Baba to be proud of who she is." All of a sudden Tom gripped my wrist that was dangling over the edge of the bed making me squeal and him laugh
"Shouldn't have left it there" he remarked letting go and getting up from where he was sat "Kids cute. And if she pouts like her mum she's gonna get her own way real quick" he started to walk out nodding at Izzy to acknowledge she was there
"Where you going?"
"Giving you guys family time. Plus you're not allowed more than three visitors. And they'll have to go home soon so let them have their time." I nodded "Don't be like that lex. I'll come say goodbye before I take them home?" I smiled and that caused him to smile back "Good. See you later." He left the room and I turned my attention to Izzy
"You wanna hold her?" She nodded smiling wildly as Dom picked up the baby and walked over to the chair she was now sat in "She's beautiful isn't she?"
"Yeah." She looked down at lily "Hi baby." She cooed before looking back up at me "So is everything okay? With Tom and that?"
"Iz no" Dom warned making me chuckle
"She can ask questions Dom. She just wants to know everyone's alright down here. And to answer your question Izzy yeah we're fine. Proper little family now all of us."
"Promise to visit?" She said deliberately turning her gaze to lily to avoid looking at me
"Promise. At Christmas and your birthday and whenever else I can come down." She nodded "You know I love you right?"
"Yeah." I smiled and simply left it at that seeing her interact with her niece in the most adorable way. It made my heart melt. Because it was my family. And as unconventional as it was, it was fucking perfect.
