I woke up not long after. He was still asleep though so I carefully got out of bed and made my way downstairs. I thought the house was empty so I was quite calm. That was until someone spoke
"Hi" I nearly had a heart attack. As I turned around to see Mikey stood in the doorway"Shit. I didn't mean to scare you. You probably thought I was out didn't you?" I nodded still a little shook up "Aw I'm sorry sweetheart. I'm gonna order some food if you want some?" I smiled and nodded a little more comfortable
"Why aren't you at the studio?" I asked as I made my way over to the sofa
"Just dom decided to go. Just work on vocals. And Adam drove him there." He handed me the phone so I could pick out what I wanted "How come you didn't stay up there?"
"Didn't feel like I needed to. And he was asleep so I left him."
"Oh. Do you think he will want any food?"
"Don't know. Order something for him in case. And I'll have-"
"I got your nuggets. Don't worry. And a strawberry milkshake since you're really into those at the moment. Is that a pregnancy thing or are ya just weird."
"I'm not weird." I defended "and yeah it's a pregnancy thing. Baby likes em. And honestly she gets what she wants when she wants it if I get a good night's sleep."
"You been sleeping well while he's working?" I shook my head
"Just too scared to tell him to come home. Because he loves his job so much. He always has."
"Want me to talk to him?" I looked up at him and nodded "Okay. I'll do that when he gets back."
"Thank you."
"Think you overestimated how long Tom would sleep for" he pointed towards the doorway and he was stood there rubbing his sleepy eyes to try and get a better view
"Where'd you go?" He asked softly, tilting his head to the side slightly as he waited for an answer
"Came down here. You was asleep so I didn't bother you." He shrugged and sat down on the other side of my immediately linking his arm with mine and resting his head on my shoulder "you staying then?" I said chuckling
"Yeah. I'm hungry though."
"Mikey already ordered you some food." He nodded closing his eyes "Hey. Get up a second."
"What?" He asked confused. I lifted my arm up and pulled him back into my side
"There ya go. I'll let you know when the food comes." He sighed, content with the way he was lay despite him being curled up a little more than he probably would have liked
"Don't leave like that again." He mumbled. I looked up at Mikey who just shrugged mouthing 'you sort it' since he clearly had no clue either
"I won't Tommy. Promise."

I didn't sleep at all for the rest of the night. We ate, leaving tom to sleep since I knew deep down he hadn't had much whilst he'd been gone. Tom slept peacefully though so I left him cuddled up beside me. Mikey opted to go upstairs back to bed leaving the two of us alone. We did have a small quiet chat about Tom though, and where all the clingy behaviour had come from. Maybe it was a one off. It must have been around early morning because he'd been sleeping for a while and it was still dark outside
"Is it morning yet?" I must have been zoned out because the quiet words made me jump "Shit" he said getting up "I didn't mean to scare ya"
"Mikey did the same earlier."
"What's got you so zoned out?"
"Just thinking about you. Why you're so clingy."
"You just left me. I thought you were mad. That's all. I can go to my own bed if you want?"
"No. It's fine. Just don't want you to think it's gonna be how it was when you left." He sighed
"I know it's not. Just give me a break alright. I'm trying to make it up to you." He said, defeated. I didn't know how to respond since I didn't want to start an argument.
"I know." I said quietly after a while
"You gonna let me cuddle you?" I couldn't help but get a little emotional at the way he was so scared, but I nodded nonetheless "Hey. Don't cry" he pulled me onto his lap despite my resistance because I was scared I'd hurt him because of my weight "I know why you're fussing and it's not a problem. You're not that heavy. Even with little lily." I learnt against him letting him hug me but not feeling like hugging back. I wanted the comfort from him mostly "You are still the most important thing to me. And I really missed you while I was gone." I didn't respond but he still held me tight "Hey Lils." He spoke softly putting his hand over my bump. He wasn't as confident at first but soon rested it more firmly when he realised I didn't mind. "Do you think it's time mummy got some sleep eh? Let her rest so she's got energy for tomorrow"
"I'm fine. You slept well, which is good."
"I did so now it's your turn." I wanted to resist by getting up but I was just kinda comfortable where I was "I don't see any resistance. Now come on. Get some sleep. You can get down now if you want"
"No. You're comfy. And warm. I like that"
"Alright. Whatever you want darlin'." The way he spoke made me go weak and finally hug him back tighter "I'm not going anywhere okay?" I didn't answer him so he pried me away to make me answer "Okay?" He asked holding my face
"Okay" he let go but I stayed there for a minute
"Alright darlin'. You can go to sleep now." He raised an eyebrow at the way I was smiling "What? You're doing it again" I laid back down
"Nothing. Just the way you talk to me. I like it."
"Yeah? Well if you need anything just come to me alright. You might not need me like you used to but I'm always there."
"I love you. And I know. I will come to you though. Not you hovering over me like before. Cus I'm doing alright"
"Okay. That's fine by me"

Toms POV
Dom came in surprisingly quietly a few hours later. He made his way straight to the living room and stopped in his tracks when he saw the two of us together. I couldn't quite read his expression at first which scared me because I thought he was going to go off. Instead his shocked expression curled up into a massive smile
"That's something I thought I'd never see again" he said sitting down besides us
"What do you mean?"
"I thought she's be scared. But she's cuddling with you like you were never away."
"Oh. Yeah I guess she was tired. I'm here to stay though."
"Hey I know that Lexi already mentioned it a while ago, but we're getting lily christened after she's born. And wondered if you'd be her godparent?" He seemed nervous and started playing with his hands
"Sure. And I promise that if anything happens to you to I'll take care of Lils till I die. She's gonna be my little princess."
"You're gonna raise a spoiled little girl aren't you?" He said finally looking up and smiling wide
"I am yeah. What she wants, she gets. So have fun trying to tell her no."
"You'd really do that for her?"
"For you all. Did I tell you about Jake and his wife?" He shook his head "You tired or you wanna hear?"
"No. Tell me."
"She had a baby"
"No fucking way. So you've had a baby about the house then"
"Yeah way. And for about a month now. She's so cute Dom. Made me realise I had to come back before the baby was born." He had the same smile Lexi had when she heard me talking about it. I didn't push it though and just smiled back "You staying down here?"
"Yeah. I'd like that."
"Okay then. Grab me the remote and we can watch TV. I've been held hostage in silence since this film ended."
