Aurora Butterfly-Diaz was given an assignment to choose a topic she can make a book about, and she chose the queens of Mewni. Aurora did research on all her ancestors who were queens before her. So this book is all about the past queens of Mewni.

Polaria was the daughter of Cosmica, she was also the first queen to sail the Mewni sea. While on her adventures she learned the magic song of the mermaids. Her hair was dark blue and her eyes were heavenly. Her cheek marks were thin blue 4-pointed stars like sapphire. She wore a blue bodice with puff sleeves, with a dark blue skirt. She wore white gloves and brown boots.
Her wand resembled a golden trident.
