" He wanted to become the king, they, they killed my mother, how could he?she always loved him more than his own devil mother but they killed her just because he wanted to be the king, they even tried to kill me, if he only  told me that he wanted to be the king I would gladly let him, but he never showed me that he is interested in the throne," yoongi remember when his father named him as the crown prince half of the ministers denied it telling Jin should be the future king since he is older but the late king didn't not agree, and seok Jin himself announced that he is not interested to become the king. Yoongi always wonder what make him changed his mind,

Jimin saw the grip of the sword King is holding getting tighten, trying to hold his overwhelming anger, without thinking twice Jimin hold the king's hand gently rubbing his thumb on his hand, and it was a magic that make the king clam,

  " may be you misunderstood him "
  Jimin choose to say he expect the king to denied it and get angry but instead he went silent so Jimin continues,

" his majesty, do you really think he betrayed you? "

This was something Yoongi keep pushing back, even the evil queen herself said that Jin never wanted to be the king and was missing him it was so late to accept that, it was so late because he already killed the prince, he remember the way his hyung opened  his arms to embrace him at the moment he showed up infront of him with his bloody sword, and the way he pushed the sword right into his heart, the way his teary eyes silently asked why he did that, everything was so clear like it happened yesterday,

so yoongi keep telling himself Jin betrayed him, he never loved him, he was acting all the time but part of him knew that's not true and that's when he feels like a sinner, he regret doing what he did to his brother, the guilt eat himself alive, but it's too late too late to make things right, he is already a monster, nothing can changed that, there was no single night he slept peacefully without his sins hunting him, the pain was unbearable, he kept it to himself for a long time but now in this moment something break inside him, he felt the strange feeling of his eyes watering,

Jimin was surprised to see the king shading tears, he never expect the cold hearted king to break down like this, and Jimin got his answer the king is regretting what he did, he felt the pain in his heart seeing the tears in his eyes

" It's okay, people made mistakes, I am sure the prince wouldn't hate you,  he knows you regret, he will understand," Yoongi knows it, he knows how kind hearted was the prince and that makes him more miserable,

" I want him to hate me, I want him to never forgive me "  the king mumbles, the tone make jimin's eyes water for the king,

" His majesty, you will be okay " without thinking twice Jimin cups his face and wipes the falling tears, " don't cry "

Yoongi closed his eyes when he feels the soft lips on his forhead,

he puts his arms around the boy and rest his head on his shoulder, after years of suffering alone Yoongi finally feels the heaviness of his heart is lighting little by little, the boy in his an angel and Yoongi is not sure if he deserve someone like him in his life,

The lanterns fly up the sky one by one filling the starless sky beautifully, gaining their attention, Jimin smiles at the dreamy sight infront of him,

" They are beautiful " Jimin said eyeing the every single lantern as he could,

" You are more beautiful "
Jimin found the king staring at him with a tiny smile that almost unrecognizable but still that make Jimin blush and he return the smile gladly.

May be yoongi did nothing his life to deserve a angel like his petal but now he has him, he promised himself  to protect him and never  let go of him,

' you are mine petal '
