Alice and Hatter went back to the dungeon. Alice put Hatter’s coat and hat on and they parted ways.
“Stay safe…?” Hatter pleaded to Alice. “Don’t get hurt…” Alice sighed and smiled at him.
“I’ll do my best.” Alice promised, pressing her lips to Hatter cheek. “And you be safe, as well. Don't you dare scare me, either.” Hatter smiled, and they finally walked in different directions, on their way to a hope of victory.
Hatter’s job was to push Indigo over while his sight was blocked by Time’s hat. Hatter speed walked his way to the center of the castle as fast as possible. Hatter watches Indigo, he kept cautious of the hours that lurked nearby. Hatter was angry to even think about Indigo. He was wrong for doing such evil things.
Time snuck around, trying not to make noise. He had his hat in hand, and was ready to blind his cousin. Hatter and walked into the same hallway and were both walking on the way to carry out Alice’s brilliant plan. Time and Hatter faced each other.
“Good luck, Hightopp.” Time said sarcastically. Hatter squinted.
“You as well,” Hatter’s eyes were yellow, and he was ready for anything to happen. “And you tell your blasted cousin to keep a distance from Alice.” Hatter said, remembering Indigo’s pervish remark at Alice before. Time sighed, and they parted ways. It was time to bring justice to the table at once.
Alice ran through the main room, gathering Indigo’s attention. Alice was wearing Hatter’s clothes, making it seem as if Hatter had been the one to run by. Indigo growled.
“You're not so sneaky, Mad Hatter!” Indigo yelled. Alice ran by a different door this time. “You will never lay a finger on me!” Time had to be cautious while sneaking up behind Indigo. The hours could be anywhere. Soon enough, Time covered Indigo’s eyes with his hat, thrusting it over his head. Indigo yelped. “Cowards!” An hour began chasing Time. Hatter was trying to make it there in time, but Indigo’s huge robotic dog jumped in front of him. The dog snapped at Hatter. Alice began running down to where they were.
Hatter was hit once in the stomach by the metal beast. Hatter grabbed onto one of its roots. The creature jumped and grabbed hold of one of the huge rocking clocks above the moving cogs. Hatter held on for dear life.
“Hatter,” Alice yelled. “Jump!” Hatter looked down. He shook his head and began climbing up the robot dog. The dog snapped and snapped. Hatter ripped one of its roots out of tact. The dog scratched and whimpered in pain. The dog threw its neck back and whacked Hatter in the head. Alice, meanwhile, was helping Time get away from hour 5. Indigo still could not remove the hat from his eyes.
Hatter needed to get to Indigo, and he needed to get off the dog. The whack to the head made him slip. Hatter was falling for a moment, but then caught himself on the tail of the robotic canine. Indigo got the hat off, and threw it into the turning cogs, destroying it.
“That’s it!” He yelled fed up. “If I need to use your own forces against you, I will!” Indigo began rushing toward the dungeon. Hatter steadied himself. The dog snapped and swung at Hatter.
Alice used a hammer she found and whacked the hours. Time blocked their hits, and punched at them with his metal hand. Alice knocked the head off of one of the hours. The robotic parts fell apart and collapsed onto the ground.
“Back you dreaded fakes!” Time yelled at the creatures. Time punched a hole through the chest of hour 9. Alice and Time smiled at each other. Alice didn’t have time to be surprised at Time showing emotions. The started where Hatter was climbing around the dog and messing with its gears and roots. Suddenly, an unfamiliar hour stomped up to them. The number on its shoulder read: 11. The hour roared at the two.
“How many of these are there?” Alice asked, pulling out her hammer. Time sighed as the creature stamperd closer. Alice and time dodged well enough until 10 hit Alice, knocking her back and onto the ground.
“Alice!” Hatter and Time both yelled. They looked at each other. If Alice was gone, the plan would surely fail. She was the brains of the operation. Alice got up, dazed. As if on cue, the robot hound threw Hatter into the air, and jumped away. Hatter began falling. Alice and Hatter’s eyes met as Hatter became closer and closer to being crushed by the cogs that turned constantly. That was surely the end. Failure. The only path that seemed left.
