21. the first

hi guys! I'm back finally :) I hope you enjoy

The door of the detached home slammed open widely and a little black haired boy came running through.

He ran straight to the living room and threw himself into jenos arms. The latter also threw his arms round and squished the smaller boy until he nearly knocked the air out of him.

"Jeno" Jaemin said with heavy breaths smelling the beer on his jacket. They finally let go and Jaemin examined jenos face

"Are you okay what happened?!" Jeno just titled his head into the palm of jaemins hand that laid on his face and let his eyes shut.

A few warm tears escaped his eyes as he swallowed loudly. Just as he was about to once again throw himself into jaemins arms the two boys heard tuts come from across the wide room they were sat in.

The boys simultaneously looked to where the noise was coming from only to see doyoung with his arms crossed leaning against the lapis coloured sofa. His foot was moving up and down impatiently as he says "I'm still here you know"

Jeno quickly wiped his tears as if doyoung hadn't realised already, "sorry hyung where do you want us to sleep".

You could hear on his voice that the giddiness had worn away and all he was left with was hurt. He was trying to hide his emotions but his voice cracking didn't help much and for Jaemin no matter how well Jeno hide his emotions he would always be able to see the truth. The truth was that Jeno was broken and Jaemin couldnt help him right now.

"You can sleep on the room on the right of the landing but there's only one spare bedroom so I hope you two don't mind sharing" he left with patting Jeno on the back and whispering "it'll get better kid I love you" then disappearing into the kitchen on the left of the stairs

This made Jeno smile slightly but that was until he was surprised by jaemins next action.

Jaemin started pulling Jeno up the stairs and carefully navigated their shared bedroom. Then he quickly shut the door and pulled Jeno in for the biggest hug he could give.

"I don't know what happened but I'll probably be mad if you explain won't I" Jaemin chuffed "so how about you don't tell me for now unless you really want to and I'll try my best to be there for you as much as I can so this doesn't happen again okay"

Jaemin whispered this into the crook of jenos neck until he felt a warm tear slide down his T-shirt. He carefully pulled away, realising that Jeno had left a big wet patch on his shirt.

"Aww don't cry don't cry it's okay I'm here for you" this made Jeno pull away and face the other direction. He was clearly trying to cope with his emotions.

"Na Jaemin I don't know how I got this lucky but- and I don't know how to say this because I don't wanna sound cringy or cheesy but you make me really really happy and what I'm saying probably doesn't mean anything to you because I'm drunk but just know that I think of you like 10000 times a day and when you're with other people I get so jealous and-"

Jaemin stood behind him with a huge grin and cut off Jeno with a small hand covering his mouth . The culprit slowly turned Jeno around and kissed him lightly on the cheek

"I love you too Jeno"

This was the first time Jeno had felt himself about to explode from a single phrase. It was the first time Jeno was in love.

a small blush crept gradually turned into Jeno turning crimson red. This caused Jaemin to go into fits of laughter.

"Uhm- I need a shower yes I'll go have a shower" Jeno set off for the bathroom leaving Jaemin on the floor still recovering.

"Wait Jeno"

"Yes" Jeno replied,still evidently very embarrassed

Jaemin giggled and said "I was gunna ask if you wanted a bath? I can help you clean you're injuries properly"

"naked?-" Jeno said baffled

"No you pervert I mean in boxers obviously" Jaemin laughed
