Sup bitches😉 I'm back and this is gonna be fairly short, i also don't know if i can really classify this as sad but it's sad in it's own way i guess 🤷♀️, oh and i should probably do warnings. . . So in future chapters there will be sexual content, cursing, drinking but i don't know what it's like so i gotta ask some peeps. Oh and did i mention sexual fucking content? Cause with hybrids and their heat/rut cycles this'll get steamy in the near future. Oh I'm holding you for wayy too long go ahead and read.

Prologue: Felix's Promise
(Author's POV)
Hyunjin's soft sobs could be heard throughout the apartment, echoing through the halls as he curled up into himself on his bedroom floor. Felix and Changbin remained outside of his door, begging for him to come out, " Binnie, you should probably go outside, Hyunjin's uncomfortable with Predator hybrids and being an Alpha doesn't help much either. . . Sorry." Felix asked, looking at his boyfriend and mate with pleading eyes.
" No, it's okay Felix. I understand his uneasiness. . . Just help him out okay?" Changbin complied and walked out of the apartment, sliding down the wall next to the door, waiting patiently for the cat hybrid to comfort his friend.
" Prince! It's only me! Felix! Please open the door!" Felix begged from outside the door, the only thing he wanted at the moment was to just comfort his friend. Hyunjin inside his room however felt terrified, his head snapped up at the door while he stared with teary eyes. Hyunjin could barely recognize his best friend's voice as he trued to register the words coming out of the "so called" Felix's mouth.
Hyunjin honestly. . . Didn't know what to do. One part of him was yelling for him to open the door while the other begged for him to stay put and ignore the voice. Hyunjin's paranoia took over his mind for a second, scenarios of Felix being tied up while a terrifying figure stood in front of his door, The terrifying figure standing over an unconscious Changbin with a sickening smile on his face, A man dragging him away while he kicked and screamed while reaching fir his door, etc. It all made him feel so terrified, so he just curled back into a ball and rocked back and forth.
" Hyunjin! Please! I don't want you to be alone right now! Please just let me in!" Felix cried as he held back from slamming his hands on the door. Hyunjin sniffled as he looked up again, his mind clearer at the moment. He recognized Felix's voice and shakily stood up, walking, or more like wobbling in his case, to the door. As he was about to open it he got scared again and opened the door by a centimeter but when he caught a glimpse of the dusty pink locks and fluffy pink ears he was so fond of he threw the door open and wrapped his arms around Felix, making himself smaller and he started to sob his heart out.
" I-I was so sca-scared!" Hyunjin choked out as Felix sunk slowly onto the floor with Hyunjin, Felix letting the deer hybrid bury his face into his neck, not minding the funny sensation from Hyunjin breathing in. Felix knew his scent helped Hyunjin relax and he wanted him to feel better.
" I know Prince." Felix comforted, rubbing the brunette boy's back. Hyunjin's sobs turned into almost inaudible hiccups as Felix whispered sweet things into his ears, to help him forget the haunting gruff voice of the attempted kidnapper.
" Why'd I have to be stuck as a stupid deer? If i wasn't one my life would be so much easier." Hyunjin mumbled, Felix frowned at his words. " I'm useless. . . I can't even protect myself. . . I'm just a pretty face." Hyunjin droned on, more and more self directed insults flowing out of his mouth. Felix could only sit in shock as he listened to his best friend degrade himself, saying that he's talentless, useless and weak and overall. . . Nothing.
" No! Stop it! You're amazing, talented, graceful, sweet, kind, caring, strong boy. You've been through so much but you got through it didn't you?" Felix asked.
" Yeah. . . With your help!" Hyunjin shot back, " I've always needed help!"
" Well no one can do anything alone! I've needed you more times then i can count!" Felix argued, Hyunjin's words died in his throat the moment those words came out of Felix's mouth. How could he argue with that? " Now do you want me to list off your talents? Or can you do it yourself?" Felix asked, dead serious.
" I-I. . . You do it . . ." Hyunjin muttered as he looked down, he couldn't find anything good to say about himself. . . Much less list off the minimal talents he has.
" First of all, you have a beautiful voice. Second of all, you are so good at sports, have you seen yourself? And you are one of the most amazing dancers I've had the pleasure of watching." Felix stated immediately, shocking Hyunjin.
" Well it doesn't matter if I'm good at those things if i can only muster up the guts to show you. Everyone else's opinon would stay the same! I'd only be seen for my appearance!" Hyunjin pointed out trying to hide himself in Felix's chest again but Felix grabbed his face with his hands, making him look Felix in the eyes.
" I-I can help you with your confidence! We've always been there for each other and i won't give up now! I'll help you through this Hyunjin, I promise." Felix reassured, tearing up a bit, just wanting his friend to trust him with this.
" You me-mean it, Lixie?" Hyunjin asked, hiccuping a bit.
" From the bottom of my heart." Felix replied, " Now, will you just trust me and let me help you?"
" O-Okay. . . I trust you. . ." Hyunjin mumbled giving in.
