Chapter two: Mall time/ mean girls

Chapter 2.

The next morning Penelope got dressed in her white shirt dress and black tights.

She put a black rubber band in her hair and then went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth. After she was done upstairs she went downstairs and put her white socks and black shoes on. She went into the kitchen and ate her cereal.       

She wrote and note and stuck it on the fridge with a smile magnet. The note said. To mom: I’m gonna go hang out with some friends. I’ll be back by 3 or 4:00. Love you. Xoxo. She kissed the note when she had lip-gloss on so it left her lip mark on the note. She smiled as she left the house.     

She headed out the door. Skipping to Marissa’s car.

“Hey guys!” She yelled as she hopped into the crowded blue SUV hybrid.

“Hey.” They all said welcoming her.

Marisa drove off. Marisa’s a year older than Penelope. Marisa has a twin too her name is Alyssia. They hang out together a lot they do each others hair and make up. Penelope wants a twin sometimes too. Penelope loves Sammy though so much even if she is 12 years older than her.

They got to the mall in a few minutes. When they got there they all ran out. Marissa almost forgot to lock the car. She locked it though when she realized. When they got in they were all in a line looking up at the extremely high ceiling of the mall. They all felt like it was Christmas morning. Looking at all the clothes, makeup, shoes. Ect.

“Alright we can go shopping for a couple hours then we will go to the food court and have lunch, then if you guys want to a movie.” Marissa said smiling.

“Sure.”

“Yep.”

“Sounds like a plan.”

“Let’s boogie.”

They all replied.

Half of them went into the Old navy section.

Then the other half went into the makeup palace.

We should do this more often.

Penelope thought to herself.

Alyssia ran up behind Penelope.

“Hey girly watcha doin?!?” She yelled loudly.

 Penelope gasped.

“Hi. Just looking i wasn't gonna go in or anything but.....” Penelope said after she turned around.

“Hey. Did I scare you?” Alyssia asked laughing.

“Yeah.” Penelope said smiling.

“Do you want to look at shoes with me? I see a really cute pair. The others won't care.”

“Sure!!” Penelope yelled as they ran to the shoe section.

“Here they are!" Alyssia said picking up some pink high heels.

 "I’m gonna try them on then if they don’t fit me, then someone else can have them their sure to fit one of us right?” Alyssia said.

“Yeah. I’m pretty sure they will fit you they look small.” Penelope replied.

Alyssia tried the shoes on. They did fit. Penelope wasn’t surprised at all because Alyssia’s feet are small. So are the shoes.

“Yay!! They fit!” Alyssia said grinning.

“I’m happy for you!” Penelope said in a happy tone.

“Thanks. Ooh look at those. Try those on!” Alyssia said pointing at some purple pumps.

“Ooh these are cute.” Penelope said picking up the shoes. She tried them on. “They fit! I’m so glad” Penelope said excitedly.

Alyssia smiled. They were walking to the checkout counter but they saw that there was a pair of shoes on sale half off. They were about to grab them but another woman grabbed them.

“Sorry ladies.” A tall skinny young woman said in a snotty tone. The woman turned around and to the two girls horror it was Lora. From school. It was summer break then they hadn’t seen her in a long time.

“Lora?” Alyssia scoffed.

“Yeah Lora. You Dimwit.” Lora replied rolling her eyes.

Wow you guys really got dumber over the summer."

“Yeah we did and you got more plastic looking.”

"Watch it kid or I’ll come after you.” Lora said.  

“We will get you next time.” Alyssia and Penelope said.

“Sure you will.” Lora replied.

“Yes we will. Ohhh yes we deffidently will.” Penelope said under her breath.
