~About a month later~ (beginning-ish of October)

George reached over Dream and shut off their alarm that was perched on their new side-table.

Dream yawned and pulled George closer, spooning him further. "I don't wanna go to school today."

"We have to." George whispered through a yawn.

"Why can't it be Summer yet?"

"Because it's Fall." George liked Summer, he liked sleeping in, going to the pool, staying up late, parties, but nothing compared to his excitement for the date nights he had planned for him and Dream this Autumn.

"Mmm, Fall."

George had been officially living with Dream for a month and a half now, he had a part-time job at a Spencer's outlet in the mall but made enough money to help Dream with groceries and rent. They were still on trial with their relationship, everything had been going smoothly for them and George planned on asking Dream out soon if Dream didn't ask him first.

"Wanna go to that carnival tonight?"

"Yeah, that sounds fun." Dream was still sleepy, his voice was deep and his eyes were still pasted shut.

Their alarm went off a second time, and George slammed it off. "Time to get up."

Dream groaned as George wriggled out of his hold and slid into a pair of basketball shorts, no underwear and no shirt.

George went into the kitchen and turned on a lamp. He got Patches food ready, then made himself coffee since Dream wasn't much of a coffee drinker. He cooked scrambled eggs for himself and fried for Dream, then placed croissants on their plates.

"Dream, breakfast."

Dream groaned again, and sluggishly walked out of the bedroom in sweatpants and a hoodie. "It's so bright in here."

George was patient with Dream in the mornings, he knew he had a hard time getting up. "Baby there's one lamp on."

"Turn it off."

George switched off the lamp. "Be careful coming over here."

"Mmm." Dream made his way to the fridge and grabbed a Monster.

"Breakfast first, please." George said, sitting at the island.

"Mmm." Dream sat down across from George at the counter and cracked open the energy drink.

"Please?"

"Mhm." Dream set down the can and picked up the croissant, peeling it apart, eating it.

It was still dark outside, and George had a school schedule planned out for the two. Wake up at six, eat breakfast, get ready, be at school by seven, go to work, do homework, have a date night/ dinner, then sleep. Not including anything extra they liked to do- see a movie, take a walk, skateboard to their field, mess around in bed.

It had been working well, but Dream was usually so exhausted after school he just napped while George did their homework and then woke up in time for his shifts at the bar. He switched around his schedule so it would fit with Georges better- they both went to work right after school, then come home.

After George finished eating, he put his plate in the sink. "It's your turn to do dishes."

"Mmm."

George went into the bedroom and shifted through him and Dreams drawers, pulling out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. They shared, if something was too big or too small, they just traded, knowing they got each others clothes.
