Once we get up Beverly gets ready and I wait for her to escort me to my apartment still frightened I'd 'it' is still there. I put on some black underwear with a plain blue milkmaid dress.

We ride our bikes to the quarry and see the boys at the top deciding who's going first. Me and bev look at each other and say "we'll go". We take of our clothes leaving us in our underwear, and jump holding hands

"Sissies!" Bev shouts

"We just got shown up by 2 girls!" Richie screams

"Come on Richard, your not scared are you" I shout

"Never princess" and he jumps off

When he resurfaced his face is inches away from mine. Thankfully Beverly pulls me away. It would of been really awkward if she hasn't. I whisper a quick "thanks" to her.

Everyone starts playing chicken fight and me and Eddie are refereeing. Bill and bev win.

After being in the water for hours, me and bev lie down on a towel whilst "bust a move" is playing in the background. I could feel eyes on us so I nudge bev. She whispers "1..2..3" and we both turn around, bill and Ben staring at bev and the rest at me. Everyone turned around pretending that they weren't staring. Richie starts digging through bens back pack and says in a reporter tone "news flash Ben: schools out for summa"
"What's with the history project?" Eddie asks

"Oh this, this is just research about the town. When I moved here I had no one to hang around with so I went to the library" Ben answered

"You went to the library on purpose?" Richie asks confused

"Richard, some people like going to the library" I say

"Not me princess"

"Ooh I want to see" bev gets up and sits next to bill

"Who sent you this?" Richie says getting out a post card

"No one" Ben snatches it back.

"Y-your h-hair-"  bill says to Beverly

"It's gorgeous" Ben cuts him off

"You too y/n. It looks amazing. Although I got to admit, I will find it harder to pull your hair later when we-" Richie starts saying

"Beep beep Richie" I say before he could finish

""Why is it all about missing kids?" I ask

"Derry's an interesting place. I've got more stuff at my house if you want to see?"

Everyone says yes except for Eddie. "Come on Ed's, it will be ok" I offer him a hand to get up and he takes it. I look around and Richie looks almost jelous but turns round when I look at him.

~time skip to bens house~

When we arrive at bens house we all drop our bikes down accept for Stanley who stands it up. I walk into bens room and see him frantically put something in his wardrobe and rush back. We all start looking around at the posters.
"Woah, woah, woah.. wow" Richie starts
"Cool huh?" Ben says proudly
"No, no, nothing cool" Richie says and I slap him on his head. "Ow" he mutters.
I look at one and it seems a bit off. "Hey Ben, what's this?" I ask

"Oh that, that's the charter for Derry township"

"Nerd alert!" Richie continues whilst pushing up his glasses
"Richard shut up!" I tell him

"No actually it's, it's really interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp-"

"Still is am I right boys" Richie holds his hand up for a high five until Stan pulls it down.
