"Hi Mr Jones its nice to to meet you officially" betty said shaking his hand

"And you and you um... Why don't you guys sit down" Fp said making space on the couch

"This isn't really a social call" jughead said

"No I didn't expect it would be after Archie showed up at the bar" Fp said looking at us

"We know the serpents had some kind of drug thing going on with Jason blossom" jughead said

"What where'd you here that?" Fp asked

"Our sister" betty said Fp let out a sigh and sat on the couch

"The kid needed some money to get away a clean-cut kid like that no one's gonna suspect him running, so we helped him he helped us" Fp said

"Jeez dad did you tell the cops that?" jughead asked

"What do you think?" Fp asked

"Well they know now Polly told them so if they haven't been by yet they will be" jughead said

"Did you ever talk to Jason personally?" betty asked

"My guys gave him some product when it wasn't delivered we figured he'd took off with our stash until..." fp said but betty cut him off

"Until Jason's body was found at Sweetwater river" betty said Fp looked at me then jughead Fp raised an eyebrow

"Anything else you want to ask?" fp asked

"Did you have anything to do with Jason blossoms death?" jughead asked

"You really think I could do that?" Fp asked

"Its the dark ages dad I don't really know what to think anymore" jughead said

"I'm not a perfect dad jughead but I'm no killer" Fp said

The next day

Brooke pov

"You what?" I asked mom

"I invited jughead and his dad over for dinner" mom said putting the pie in the oven I walked up stairs into my room and called my dad

Dad: hello

Brooke: hi would you like to come to the house for dinner

Dad: you mom don't want me there

Brooke: please come she wants you here

Dad: ok ill be there

Brooke: your the best bye

I hung up and started getting ready for dinner I put on a black and blue dress we were sitting at the table mom was passing out the food she made

"Super-delicious Mrs. C " jughead said mom put her hand on fps shoulder

"Sure is Alice been a long time since I ate something that didn't come in a combo meal or a snack pack" fp said as mom sat down

"So fp.." mom said

"Betty tells me that you work for fred Andrews now how do you balance that with all of your other responsibilities?" mom asked

"You mean like being a farther?" fp asked

"And being apart of the Southside community?" mom asked

"Mom" I said

"You can say 'Southside serpents' Alice I'm not ashamed and its not just me there's a bunch of us working on Fred's site" Fp said

"So if you don't mind me asking I mean I'm just curious how did you make a living before that?" mom asked
