'just what they need- what on earth are they talking about?' y/n thought, glancing at the four girls. 'what kind of group do they have? why do they need me specifically?'
"i'm still a bit confused," y/n said, still looking at the other girls. "who were those guys? why did everyone stop when they entered?"
the other girls chuckled. each one of them glanced at each other, wondering if they should tell y/n about this schools social structure, or if they should further introduce themselves. y/n glanced at their uniforms, she realized how their uniforms were grey as well.
"we are known as the Dream Team here in Brainbox High." jisoo said, twirling her thick, smooth brown hair in her finger. "we are the popular girls in this school. the boys you just saw are known as the Justice League."
"as a member of the Dream Team," lisa added on, her eyes not leaving y/n's face. "you are on top of the social structure of this school. if you roll with us, you roll with every boy being already obsessed with you. however, the Justice League is basically the same thing, except every girl is obsessed with them."
"are we obsessed with them?" y/n asked, genuinely curious.
"no! of course not, they are basically our enemies. the Dream Team has been an organization since this school opened. it took many years for the Dream Team to actually get this far; beforehand, we were known as a joke." jisoo said, surprised at this kind of question. "however, the Justice League didn't nearly take the time to organize the team. they were just good looking, and that's all they needed. some good looks and a bunch of obsessive teenage girls who would rather stare at boys than do their homework."
y/n chuckled, still kind of confused but glad that this was being explained to her. she understood why the girls would find the Justice League attractive; after all, they did have good looks. but what did this all have to do with her? why did they choose her out of the crowd specifically?
"but why me?" y/n asked, hearing her voice echo and bounce against the walls, finally reaching to her again. "there are many other girls which would be good for your organization. after all, i just got here."
"everyone knows when a foreign exchange student is due to come to this school," jennie said, finally saying something after being silent. y/n almost forgot she was there. "even if it doesn't feel like it, you are definitely popular already. everyone knows your name, your face, where you came from... you know, the basics."
"we thought having you, would be a great addition to our organization." lisa sighed, grabbing ahold of rose's beautiful hair, braiding it. "you seem to be exactly what we needed. someone with instant popularity, and you're not so bad on the looks side. if you weren't on our team, i know the Justice League would already try to get with you."
"well, i'm in." y/n said, nodding her head. anything to fit in right? let's just hope this isn't something she regrets. "do i need to do anything else?"
"nope. we will send the uniform over to your house. we already have the address in which you're staying in, and your size." lisa said in a strong confident tone. you could already tell that lisa was leader of the Dream Team.
just then, the bell rang. drats, now it's time for her to find her way to class.
