I didn't realize that as much as it would be hell for him, it'll be hell for me as well. I won't have anyone to hang out with. I'll be by myself for 2 weeks. Eddie is my only friend. "Oh," I say. I understand what he meant. "Do you want me to hang up so you can..." I trail off, not wanting to finish the sentence.

"No, I'm fine," Eddie says. "Uh, your voice is helping though. So ... can you please stay on the line." I feel my face flush once he's said that. 

"R-really?" I ask.

"What do you want me to talk about?" I ask.

"Uh, well, you and your "friends" made a giant mess of shit in my house last night, so I spent a lot of f*cking time cleaning that up," I say. I hear him give breathy laugh to that. "Seriously?" Eddie asks.
