New Girls in Town

I don't remember much

I was just an infant

But I do remember cherry blossoms that surrounded my loving mother and father

Until a bright orange flame of fire from the depths of hell took them away

Leaving me alone in the darkness with the sounds of my cries

That was when Oroku Saki my father's friend came and took me with him along with his daughter

When I was at a young age he taught me the ways of my family's gift and has trained me as a kunoichi

At the age of 16, I earned my twin tessons which were a gift from my father

I was happy yet I felt incomplete

That is until I heard about New York

And I wasn't prepared for what's to come to my life

It was Karai and I in the throne room waiting for Shredder to come in and choose one of us to go to the city.

I glanced at Karai as she glanced back both our eyes in rivalry with one another until the sounds of doors broke our stares to meet the Shredder.

He came to his throne as Karai and I kneeled before him.

"You both must know why you are here," said Shredder "Yes, to choose one of us who will be going to the city for mutant activity," I said. "Correct, but to also have knowledge of them. That is why I have chosen both of you to go" Said Shredder

Shredder stood up and walked to us. "We won't disappoint you, Father," said Karai. We stood up as Shredder dismissed us

We were running from rooftop to rooftop looking for any activity. We were told that it was a mutant turtle which was odd until were heard a clanking.

I looked at Karai as she gave me a look to follow the sound. I nodded and took the foot soldiers with me. I took on the lead of following the mutant until he stopped at the edge of the rooftop. I gave the signal to attack.

"Foot clan, huh you guys just made my night," said the mutant. I was observing his movements very carefully in the shadow. It was obvious who would win. The turtle was the last one standing. "Aahh I feel so much better," said the turtle.

I moved my way to the top of the billboard he must've heard me since he looked up at me trying to see who I was. I leaped and tripled flipped in the air landing perfectly on my feet in front of the mutant. I stood straight up facing him. "Not bad," I said.

His eyes widened at my compliment. "Uh thanks," he said. I chuckled as I took a couple of steps. "You might actually be a challenge," I said. We both stood staring at one another until Karai broke it by landing in front of me throwing blinding powder at the turtle making him cough and cover his eyes. I ran and kneed at his abdomen pinning him at the edge of the rooftop with my twin tessons.
