Arrival Day.....

Pink: What the heck is going on?

Black: We're space ninjas.

Blue: A mild simplification.

Black: Sorry. Space ninjas with killer robots...shaped like killer dinosaurs.

???: Not all of us got dinosaurs.

Blue: Technically, a mastodon isn't a dinosaur.

Yellow: Neither is a sabertooth tiger.

Black: Thanks, nerd police.

???: Wish I had a dinosaur.

Pink: But we just fought a giant monkey.

Black: A giant blue monkey.

Yellow: In a suit of armor.

Pink: Yeah, all I'm saying is...

???: We totally won.

Yellow: Did we, though?

Pink: Yeah. We saved the world. Like, for real for real.

Yellow: Seems like they just kinda forfeited.

???: A win is a win.

Black: The city is still standing, bo one died, and we just legoed five baby robots into a giant, super badass robot. In our first try! Seems like a win to me.

???: Still don't have a dinosaur.

Yellow: Don't ever call kitty-saurus a baby again.

You just laughed a bit as you stood on the head of the massive robot as the sun began to set.

So, it was a weird day.

But you know why.

Who didn't know about the Power Rangers?!

And if you didn't, why the heck are you reading this story?

You know how it goes. Teenagers with attitude were chosen to become Earth's protectors.

Black: You already named it?

Zachary Taylor. Age 15. Black Ranger.

Blue: I think she already named all of them.

Billy Cranston. Age 14. Blue Ranger.

Pink: It's pretty up here.

Kimberly Hart. Age 15. Pink Ranger.

Yellow: You guys know I'm terrified of heights, right?

Trini Kwan. Age 15. Yellow Ranger.

Billy rubbed the back of his neck before he turned to Zach.

Billy: Zack, are you worried at all about the military showing up and, you know, getting mad at us?

Zach: Mad? For what? We just saved the world. If anything, they should start making their own Zords.

You just watched the sun set as you let out a breath.

Trini: You okay over there, Jason? You know you can talk now. The battles over.

Red: Yeah, but the war is just starting. And I got the feeling that things are never going to be the same.

Jason Lee Scott. Age 15. Red Ranger.

You looked down at your hand. You had to agree. Things from here on out would never be the same. You had a duty now. To protect the world.

To be a Power Ranger.

Trini looked over at you and found you standing off on your own. You were always off on your own. She had asked about you before, but no one knew anything about you.

Y/N L/N. Age 15. Colorless Ranger.

This isn't a story about how the Power Rangers came to be. This isn't a story about how you all banded together to defeat Rita.

Of course, that will be in the story.

But over all, this is a story about a boy who had nothing. A boy who was destined to be nobody.

This is about what came after the first battle. And how things changed forever.
