Initiation (Lazy Chapter)

3rd person POV: The next day

"If you want to grow up, you're going to have to meet new people and learn to work together." Yang said while talking to Ruby, her little sister.

"Ugh, you sound like dad!" Ruby complained. "Ok, first of all what does meeting people have to do with fighting. And secondly, I don't need people to help me grow up. I drink milk." Ruby at the end with proud.

"Well it's clearly not working." Someone chuckled as Izuku appeared.

"Hey!" The girl in a red cape said annoyed.

"That was a good one." The blonde girl laughed as she fist bumped Izuku.

"It's not my fault your a tall, 17 year old." The short girl said, salty.

"What do you mean? I'm 15." Izuku said. Ruby spit out the milk she was drinking to get taller while Yang's mouth what open wide open.

"WHAT?!" They both shouted.

But they got back to the topic of teams and The older sister was trying to tell Ruby to make some friends. Ruby said it was absolutely ridiculous as she already had one friend. Two of you count Jaun but that's a maybe.

A/N: The rest goes as Cannon all the way up to the initiation at Emerald Forest.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." The headmaster of Beacon said, also known as Professor Ozpin.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumours about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to this confusion." Professor Goodwitch said. "Each of you will be given teammates... today." Ruby was making noises which clearly gave a sign she was scared.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Professor Ozpin continued. The black and red haired girl was making even more noises which meant she was getting more scared. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the rest of the next 4 years." The silver eyed girl screamed in terror. "After you've partnered up, make sure you go the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition on the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die." Izuku didn't know that the test was that brutal! He couldn't let his guard down for a second in that Forest. He heard people making nervous laughs and excitement. Though he was mainly concerned about Ruby. She was a nice girl and to see her worried made him concerned. He knew she wanted to be on a team with her older sister, but there is a chance she might not. Izuku snapped out of it.

"Right now I have to focus on myself." He thought. Ozpin then went on to explain that they would get graded during the duration of initiation but the instructors will not intervene. There will be an abandon temple that will contain several relics. Every pair must choose one and return here. They will grade you appropriately based off that item, were they're standing and grades.

"Any questions." The grey haired man asked. Izuku put his hand up. "Yes, Mr Midoriya?"

"There are 17 of us here. If one of us don't get a pair, will that said person not enter the academy?" Izuku asked, genuinely curious and concerned if that said person (That may or may not be him...).

"Well it depends of how good their grades are and how well they did. If they did incredibly well, they will be on a one-man team, also helping other teams in the process." Ozpin explained. "Anymore questions?" Jaun asked a few questions which were quite stupid. Before he could ask anymore, the natural blonde got shot into the air like the rest. (Rip Jaun... pray)

Sorry if this chapter was shorter than usual. I'm working on this is the morning and I'm very lazy. This is a very bad chapter and most of it was cannon except the end and where Izuku was annoying Ruby. Anyway, promise to make better chapters, bye!
