"What's so important about a name, and my dad's-" he was cut short of his comment before he could finish it. "Don't worry, I just need to gain and compile about stuff and shit, " she reasoned, and she technically wasn't lying. "About my father?" sarcasm lingered in his voice- lacking certainty to which the girl gave him a stern look in return.

Saeron slowly nodded. Right after her response, Donghyuck was about to say something until a sudden grasp on her arm stopped him.

Jisung stood there with his hands on Saeron's arms causing her to jolt. He came early to chat with her yet he couldn't seem to find her anywhere. He's been searching for the past 15 minutes- only to see her with the guy he was least fond of. In a secluded place.

He felt.. angry? Was he irritated by her near Donghyuck? What is this? He thought to himself.

"What are you doing?" his face was serious as he faced the girl, constantly glancing at Donghyuck who rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Relax pretty boy, she just wanted to talk," Donghyuck retorted and Jisung glared at him. "Stop calling me that."

Saeron turned around to face Jisung, "I was just talking to him about something, Ji. It's fine." Jisung frowned at her statement- clearly unpleased by her reason but he chose to brush it off. "Right," he mumbled as he let go of her arms and the girl sighed.

Donghyuck sensed the tensed atmosphere, and he decided to break it "You should head back, we're done talking, " he said while brushing his hair that were covering his eyes.

"Yes. Yes, we should, " Jisung coldly replied before Saeron could and glared at the boy in front of him- gently pulling her with him to head back to class.

As she was being dragged, Saeron looked behind to see Donghyuck still standing there with his arms crossed as she mouthed a 'thank you', and Donghyuck responded with a 'shoo-ing' motion with his hand, along with a small nod before losing sight of him when she circled the corner.

Donghyuck scoffed as they disappeared. "He needs to chill out," he shook his head before heading back to his friends.

As they sat on their usual seat, Saeron sighed at his actions. She had held her stare at the back of his head along their way to class, and he didn't even say a word after that.

The two sat in silence as they waited for their teacher to arrive, and Saeron couldn't help but glanced at him from time to time. Jisung had his particular cold expression, the behavior she hadn't witness for quite some time- he didn't even spare her a glance.

Her mind was flushed by worries and so she chose to playfully punch him on the arm, earning a glare from him. Saeron rolled her eyes at his childish behavior before she said anything.

"What's wrong with you, Ji?"

Silence.

Saeron crossed her arms on the table as she leaned towards it, giving her a better look at his face. Jisung peeked at her through his hooded eyes before shifting his gaze somewhere else.

Is he ignoring me now? Saeron giggled to herself. With so, she decided to tease him.

She lightly poked his cheeks with her index finger, to which the boy responded by scrunching his nose. When she saw him ignore her, Saeron did it again- quite a few times, to be precise.

Saeron did it multiple times before catching his attention when Jisung finally turned his head towards her in disgust. "What do you think you're doing?" he gritted through his teeth and Saeron only smiled at him and he swore he felt his heart skip a beat.

"Nothing, you're just cute" she mindlessly said- supporting her chin with both of her palms.

"I'm not."
"Sure"
"Shut the fuck up"

Saeron laughed at his current state, he's definitely flustered. "Go away," he shoo-ed but instead, the girl got closer. She squinted her eyes at him as she watched him shift his body away slightly.

"Are you perhaps.." she trailed off, sending him a gaze of suspicion. "Jealous?" and that was enough for him to choke on his own saliva. Jisung retracted himself as he tried to keep his cool. "Tch, in your dreams."

Saeron shrugged, "if you say so."

She wanted to tease him more, but Jisung was saved by the bell. Literally.

The teacher stepped into the classroom- smacking her palms together to catch everyone's attention. "Get back to your seat kiddos, we're moving on!" the teacher yelled through the loud chatters- earning groans from the students as they went back to their places.

Saeron backed herself off of Jisung, making him sigh in relief when she sat straighter on her chair. The girl seemed like she was enjoying it, she'd always find him cute when he gets flustered. No, she doesn't know where this confidence came from, but she'd found it useful- for once.

On the other hand, the boy's body tensed at her attitude. His heart beating a hundred times faster than its normal pace- and if you're wondering, no he couldn't concentrate for the whole lesson. Jisung didn't like it, the way she made him feel. It's been years since he felt this feeling, the last time being years ago.

He glanced at Saeron who's now already writing her notes as she listened to the teacher attentively.

Why do you look so familiar, Sae?

Jisung's eyes sceretly lingered on her for a while before brushing it off and direct his focus back to the teacher.
