"What's wrong?"Lily asked, glancing at the boy as she continued to look around.

"I'm not sure if I should bring this up."Remus trailed off, causing Lily to turn to him with her full attention.

"What do you mean? Just tell me, I'm sure it's nothing terrible."

"It's about Junie."Remus continued.

Lily nodded her head confused, not knowing where this was heading and why Remus as a look of uncertainty on his face.

"Have you noticed anything unusual about Junie, lately?"Remus questioned, causing Lily to shake her head waiting for him to continue.

"Eloise mentioned about Junie's infatuation towards Malfoy, and as weird as this sounds that isn't what stood out to me,"Remus said as Lily tensed at his words.

"What are you talking about, Remus?"Lily questioned, setting down the chocolate item on the shelf.

"Eloise mentioned that Junie has been sneaking out to the astronomy tower every Saturday around midnight," Lily raised an eyebrow, not understanding how that was an unusual thing for the girl.

"So, one night as I was also heading back to the common room after my nightly reading in the library, I'd check the astronomy tower to check on her."Remus paused.

"Well, go on, what's taking you."Lily pushed on.

"Junie wasn't alone, someone was there with her. Not sure who it was, but I know it wasn't anyone she would spend her time with."

"What makes you say that? And how are you so sure that someone was there with her?"Lily whispered, noticing a few students glancing at them as the duo have been standing in the same aisle for a while now.

"I heard their voice, it didn't sound familiar to me. We both know Junie, and how she is. She doesn't hang out with anyone else besides our group," Remus answered quietly, tugging at Lily's arm to pull her into a more secluded area of the shop.

"Did it sound like a boy or girl's voice?"Lily questioned.

"Sounded like a man, but I can't be too sure."Remus answered.

"We have to tell Eloise, I'm sure she has a good explanation as to why one of our best friends is sneaking out to meet a boy!"Lily whispered yell.

"Meet a boy?"A voice behind them asked, causing the duo to turn in the direction and huddle close to each other in surprise.

"You're meeting someone, Lils?"Eloise questioned, looking at the duo in confusion.

"Eloise, you're back, where's James?"Remus asked, ignoring the girl's question.

"Uh I'm not sure, he ran off somewhere, so I thought I'd come looking for you both," Eloise replied, continuing to look at her friends with confusion, not understanding why they were acting skittish.

"What's going on?"She questioned.

"We'll tell you in a bit, we have to find James first,"Remus answered, pulling Lily and Eloise out the store.

"Why can't you tell me now?"Eloise complained as she stood close to Remus as his body gave off heat waves that warmed her arm up.

"It's about Junie," Lily said, causing Eloise to stop walking and making the two stop as well.

"What about her? Did something happen? Is she okay?"Eloise rambled.

"Nothing too serious, but we figured it was important to bring it up to you,"Remus said, sending her a caring expression.

"What's going on guys?"Eloise asked once again.

Remus and Lily glanced at each other before sighing softly.

"We believe that Junie sneaks out at night to meet with a boy," Remus confessed, watching Eloise's expression of confusion continue to deepen.

Eloise stared at them bewildered, not knowing how to comprehend the information about her best friend. Junie was never a social butterfly, it was Eloise who was the one to interact with everyone. Eloise knew that Junie was too frightened to even speak to anyone outside of their group, especially to a boy of that matter.

What stunned Eloise more, was that she believed what Remus was saying. She's noticed unlabelled letter envelopes always on Junie's desk or the constant glances towards a certain blonde slytherin boy.

"Do you know who it is?"Eloise questioned.

"No, unfortunately, I do not," Remus answered, his shoulders sagging slightly.

"I think we know who it might be."Eloise claimed while looking at Lily who shared the same thought as her.

"You don't think it would be who we think it is."Lily exclaimed, not liking the idea of the boy.

"What are you guys talking about?"Remus butted in, confused at their friend telepathy thing.

"We think the boy that Junie might be sneaking off to meet is, Malfoy," Eloise stated.

"Impossible, I would have recognized his voice." Remus rebuttal.

"Junie's been acting weird about, Malfoy, is the only person we can think about. She hasn't spoken about anyone else."Lily added on, not knowing what else to say.

"We need to talk to her, I've wanted to confront her about it for quite some time, but she's always told me that she sneaks out to read where the moon shines the brightest," Eloise said, causing more confusion to layout.

The trio sighed, not knowing what to do now. Thoughts ran through Eloise's mind, not knowing which to grasp on about their discovery. Knowing that there could be more than what they are being let on.

"Well, whatever the case may be, we must find James and head back," Remus said, causing both girls to nod their heads and start walking alongside the tall boy.

"Hey! Where are you guys heading to?"James' voice cut through their thoughts, the trio spinning around to see the quidditch player standing right behind them.

"Potter! Where have you been, I've been looking everywhere for your arse!"Eloise exclaimed, smacking the boy on the chest.

"Ow! That hurt you know!"James said rubbing the spot where she had smacked him.

   "We're also back to last names? Oh give me a break, my dearest Winters."James continued.

"Oh whatever, let's go back, we have things to talk about,"Eloise said, grabbing his arm and tugging him in their direction as they started walking together.

"Is it about our future wedding, Mrs. Potter?"James flirted, causing the freckled face girl to blush wildly.

"Shut up, Potter!"

   Eloise, although annoyed at the boy, she was shocked at the fact that James was openly flirting with her instead of Lily. James must have hit his head on the way back to them, Eloise couldn't figure out but regardless found James' comments quite entertaining.

   Eloise glanced at Lily, catching the girl's eye. Lily smiled at her brightly before turning her attention to remus, who was blabbing on about Sirius's latest endeavors.

The group laughed loudly with each other, causing many stares to head their way. Although they were being judged, they couldn't care one bit about knowing. Enjoying one another's company.
