"So have you asked her yet"
" No Nique I haven't." I sighed and rolled my eyes
" Why not Tae? Prom is in 3 weeks and you need a date to prom" she says
" I don't know what she's going to say Nique and can we even do that. She's 22 and well out of high school" I try to explain to her
" First off, how do you know what she's gonna say if you don't ask her Tae. That women loves you and out of all the shit you be having her doing this would be the least craziest thing and I'm pretty sure she would say yes. And Principal Winn loves us he wouldn't care. We can just go to his office and ask for two extra tickets since they aren't students they didn't get a ticket." She reasons
" Fine, I'll ask." I sigh
"Yesss"

Before leaving school we went to Principal Winn's office and asked for two extra tickets. He kindly obliged.
Now I'm sitting down holding this ticket thinking about how I should ask Bey. She didn't go to her own prom so I don't know what she's gonna say. Nique asked Solange is she would go with her and she said yes. But Beyoncé is different, and I don't know how she's going to react. I mean if she said no of-course I'm not going to make her because she may not be comfortable with that.
" Baby where you at? I got food" I heard Bey call out
" I'm in here"
A couple seconds later she walks into the living room.
" Hey baby, how was school?" She asks me
" You know the usual. Seniors stressing about were there gonna go for college since that procrastinated and didn't apply for one. And we're about to graduate in less that a month." I laugh
" Damn. I'm happy you applied for some. You know I hate to see you stressing." She rubs my chin with her thumb and I smile
" So what you got" I say looking at all the food.
" You remember the seafood spot I said my cousin was finna open up?"
" yea" I said
" Well called me and said she was finna open up a day early and she asked if I wanted to come get some before people started coming in. I didn't even tell her why I wanted she just had it ready when I got there"
" Mannn I love her already" I pouted and Bey laughed
" Anyways we got a lil bit of everything. And I stopped by the dessert factory and picked up that Oreo cheesecake that you like. It's in the fridge"
