"Sister Lola, please tell him not to do it, " she pleaded. Her twin sister just laughed at her. "Please, sister Lola, beg him."

"He can't do that," Tito said courageously.

"No one is going to beg for you. And you too, want to join her right?" Daniel asked the other girl who just looked unconcerned.

Lola glared at her brother. "Stop threatening the poor girl Dan." Then she turned to Tife. "Don't mind him. He is just kidding."

Lola sat with Deborah in the kitchen. They had been talking after they had served the children their dinner. She had missed the time she spend with her when she was around. They talk on the phone a few times. But they still sat to catch up on things.

She didn't had a proper time to talk to her before then. And when the kids had settled to eat, she left them and came to meet Deborah in the kitchen. And they'd been gisting like they do when she was at the mansion ever since.

"I need to go and meet those girls. It's time they go to bed. They should be in bed by now, " Lola said to Deborah, standing from her seat.

She nodded and smiled. "Okay." She looked at her in a way she can't decipher and Lola couldn't help but ask.

"What is it?"

She smiled and answered, "It's somehow funny. Seeing how you have been acting with those little girls, no one will believe that they are not your children. You are acting like a real mother would."

"Life had forced me to become their mother." She grinned. "And I am glad to take on the role."

"That's really nice," she said and Lola just smiled.

"You can go to bed, I will wait for Demilade," Lola said.

"No, I shouldn't..."

"Debbie... He won't mind," she assured her confidently.

Deborah nodded in agreement. "Fine then. Thanks anyway. I'm glad to have someone to talk to again and for the beautiful company, I will be having for some days. Today has been fun on its own, " she told her sincerely.

"You are most welcome. We had fun too, " she said her.

She left Deborah and went to the other living room where the twins and Daniel sat on the floor playing a game of finger flick - rock paper and scissors. They had gone tired of watching TV and the twins had convinced Daniel to play rock paper scissors with them.

"Girls, let's go take our bath," Lola said loudly to the girls amidst the laughter and squeal.

"We are coming," Tife replied for herself and her sister. She didn't even look up. She was hell-bent on winning her brother.

"You've got five minutes." She told them. "This is already ten twenty."

She left them and went up to her room to prepare their bath and bring out their nightgowns.

When she returned they were still playing the game. Tife and Tito were angry while Daniel was busy laughing at their defeats.

"Enough of the game. It is past your bedtime. Stand up, don't let me get a cane."

"Sis wait, Tife still wants to win," Daniel said mockingly, still laughing.

Tife glared at me. Then she turned to their sister. "Please, sister Lola wait." She begged her sister with her two little hands joined together and she turned back to her brother before she could give her a reply. "Rock paper scissors."
