"I am not God that knows everything but I am going to tell you this, you are going to be more vulnerable now. He is going to be your weakness if you keep this up. And I am not saying it is bad. What I am trying to say is.... whatever happens.... good... That is your luck and fate and if it is bad, prepare your mind too... that you will be heartbroken. I always tell my children the truth because I didn't have anyone to talk to me while I was growing up. My father was too busy with his life and party. And my mother was unnecessarily too strict. Love is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. I felt it when I met your mother and when I married her and also when you and your brother were born. But what people fail to admit is that we had given a chance for more weakness. You become vulnerable. And heartbreak is not what I want you to feel right now."

"I know you care about us, daddy. But I have been heartbroken a few times. I know how it feels dad." Lola said to her father.

The man laughed dryly. "Those are childish play. You were just fooling around. Do you want to know what is heartbreak? You should ask me what I felt when I know that your mother was sleeping with other men while still in my house. You should know how I feel when she left even if I was ready to look away from her misdeeds." He said bitterly. And Lola felt sad for him. He knew how heartbroken he was. She doesn't know how she will feel if she had to go through that."

"So Lola, I don't pray you go through what I went through. Seeing how you confess your feelings for him,... I am afraid if he does a single... Just one mistake....it going to leave a huge mark on you."

"I don't pray so too dad. At least, let's face the present, not the future. You are always optimistic dad not this..." She gestured with her hand. "Pessimistic side of you."

"Okay." The man nodded. "Let's be positive. I want you to be happy and I pray that you will always be happy. No parents want their children to suffer as they do. Just like me. So I pray for the better. And I will trust him."

A broad smile spread on Lola's face. Before she could say anything thing, he continued.

"There is no point hindering what you want. Just be careful. And don't let any man takes you for granted. Always know your worth. Everything has a price, whoever you are with should know how much you are worth and don't let anyone bring you down. That's all I have to say." Mr Bamidele advised his daughter.

She went over to his side. "Thank you so much. I love you. I promise to keep your advice in my heart. Thanks for your support." She gave him a side hug. He just nodded and patted her hand.

Then she pulled away. "Daddy, there is one more thing that I want to tell you."

"What is it?" He asked.

She took her phone from the old sofa and she tap on it before giving the phone to her father to show him what was on it.

"Ten million?!" The man exclaimed. "Who sent you ten million?"

She smiled. "Dad you are so funny. Who else do I know that is rich enough to send ten million nairas? Of course, it's Demilade."

The man frowned with his brows furrowed together.

"And what is it for? I thought the deal was over."

"Yes, it is. He promised me that amount of money at the end of the deal. Things changed before then but he said a promise is a promise. He knows that I need the money. And yes, we do need the money daddy."

"But isn't ten million too much? That's a huge sum of money."

"Yes to us," Lola stated. He glared at her and she chuckled. "That's the truth dad. It is huge to us not the person who sends it."

"Whatever. I hope you appreciated his kindness. He has been a very good person." The man said looking at the screen of the phone again.

"Of course dad. I did."
