"Let me get a taste"

"Tian, don't show this face to someone else na." It felt more of a command rather than a request under the sharp gaze and Tian liked the idea of possessive Chief Phupha. 

He looked straight into Tian half-dazed eyes shaped like a Crescent. Tian could only bring himself to nod before saying "As if I would ever." And then he was scooped up by chief in seconds and was lying on the bed with chief hovering over him on all fours.

"Can I? Chief Phu looked at the boy below assuringly, he gave Tian enough space to refuse him from going any further and caresses his cheeks with such tenderness that Tian teared up at the thought of chief walking away from him.

"Hu- Hawhna is the only one allowed to touch me so intimately." Tian alluring brown orbs darted sideways before they set on Phupha again. Chief's hand slipped into Tian's shirt raising it above his waist exposing his smooth pale caramel waist. It generated a pointy thrill in his gut. 

Now that he closely-held chief's warm face in his hands looking at the earnest smile directed at him, it made his heart shudder, all those days and nights when he missed his chief's comfort, his stubbornness, his company, a tear formed and flowed down from the corner of his right eye, Tian's lower eyelids glistened under the dim light of the cabin.

Chief Phupha was filled with sudden worry, feeling tight in his chest after seeing his Tian drop a precious tear down his red cheeks. "Tian" he called out caressing the other's cheek with uttermost care. He immediately retracted his hand from under Tian's shirt. 

"I missed you Hawhna" Tian's voice sounded so broken, although he spoke in a low voice chief heard it loud and clear. Chief bought their foreheads together,  nudging the tip of Tian's nose with his.  

 " I missed you, Tian, much more than I could have imagined."

The crybaby he's become, Tian promised himself that he wouldn't get all emotional and teary eyed about their reunion, but how could he deny the fact that those days apart, felt like an endurance test but he hung in there because he promised to live his life as his own and not as Torfun's or someone else's. At this moment in each other's arms, their hearts melted like snow basking understand the morning sun paving way for the spring.

'I'm here na Tian" chief Phupha kissed Tian's forehead before raised his head just a little away from Tian to look at him. Tian cleared his throat before his cutesy adam's apple bobbed up and down as he spoke 

"I never imagined I'll be holding my present and my future in my hands so firmly like this, so close to me." Tian's vision blurred again, "ah, I'm being so silly right now." He tried to withdraw his hands from the chief's face but Chief Phupha didn't let them go and cooed at Tian in a soothing voice.

"Come here." 

Phupha flopped next to Tian adjusting his arm under Tian's head and hugged him tightly adjusting his head over Tian, sniffing his hair. He kept running his hand on Tian's back as Tian burried his head deep into chief's neck only thay his res ears and pinkish cheeks were visible. Chief's eyes were cherry red under the bleak yellow light, he was glad that Tian couldn't see them because it would make Tian more sad.

"Me too Tian. I'm here now. It's okie, we're here together. We're here."

Tian nodded his head since he didnt have Chief's shirt to tug on, he held to his phi Phu's neck.

'I'm sorry, I ruined the mood na." He spoke into chief's neck, his cheeks still wet.

Chief entwined their fingers together and kissed Tian's knuckles. "It's alright, we'll go at our own pace na." "Don't worry I'll you can pay the penality in the morning."

Chief sensed those lips form a smile and he felt at ease. He adjusted the blanket around them and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep feeling the warmth of the person in his arms. 'Ah the wind that took you away from me, brought you back to me safely na.'
