You all sat down at the booth and ate your ice cream. Yours was a strawberry and vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup and chocolate chips.

"Can I try yours?" Zach asked.

"No one told you to get plain chocolate." You said.

"But yours looks good."

"It is good and you can't have any." You said.

"You could have some of mine." Jonah said.

"I don't want vanilla!" Zach said.

"Mint chip?"

"No."

"Then go buy what you want."

"I just wanna know how it tastes."

"Stop whining." Corbyn said.

"Yeah, we have a guest try to be normal." Daniel snickered.

"I hate you guys." Zach concluded.

"But you love me right?" Jack asked.

"Of course." Zach answered and proceeded to sing, "I will always love youuuu."

"Jachary is so real." You swooned.

"Yep!" Jack and Zach high fived.

You laughed.

"Y/N, it was really fun hanging out with you today but we have to go." Jonah said.

"Aww. It was fun having out with you guys too. This was the best day of my life." You said giving each one of them a hug.

As you hugged Zach last you felt him slip something into your pocket. You furrowed your eyebrows but he put a finger to his lips and winked.

As you sat in your car you wondered what Zach put in your pocket. You took out a piece of paper from your pocket.

It said:

Your hands flew to your mouth.

Zachary Dean Herron gave me his number. Oh my god. You thought.

You quickly saved the number to your phone.

Should I text him now? I don't wanna seem desperate. What do I do? Many thoughts flew through your head.

You called Y/BFF/N and quickly filled her on what was happening.

"Omg Y/N! He actually gave you his number? Text him now!" She basically yelled at You.

"Ok ok I'm doing it now bye. Thank you for the advice."

"Of course, now go get your man." She said.

"Shut up he's not my man. I'm just a fan."

"Whatever you say."

"Byee."

You hung up and went to his number.

The phone rang and you shakily picked it up. You didn't even know why you were nervous. You had literally just spent the whole day with him.

Z: hey how are you

Y: I'm fine I'm fine just currently trying not to faint you know the usual

He laughed.

Z: So I was wondering if the next time I came over there we could maybe go out.

Y: like a date?

Z: yes like a date,if it's ok with you

Y: yes, yes of course it's ok with me. I would love to go on a date with you.

Z: haha ok that's good it would have been weird if you said no.

Y: yeah it would have.

Z: oh um we have a show tomorrow would you like to come?

Y: yes I would thank you so much oh my god.

Z: of course I'll send you the details and your ticket.

Y: um can my best friend come too?

Z: of course.

Y: thank you so much Zach oh my god.

Z: it's no problem I'll see you tomorrow.

Y: yeah see you tomorrow.

He hung up and you flopped down on your bed with a contented sigh.

You were going on a date with Zach Herron, the one person that you loved with all of your heart. And you were going to a why don't we concert.

Oh my god I love life. You thought.

That night you fell asleep not being able to stop the smile that was taking over your face.
